Priya AI is part of a larger scam by the app creator, David Akerman, under entities Y Corp (https://ycorp.ai/), Media Buyer Club (joinmbclub.com), Moonclub LLC.
I believe this is his strategy, as this is what happened to me: Pitches small businesses on website and ad services using fraudulent claims of prior work (I finally did my due diligence, emailed companies he claimed working with, and they didn't know who he is), tries to get you on monthly retainer, adds this app with bogus performance claims, and does incredibly poor quality work (enough to keep you going for a bit) until you finally catch on. He does not take your money and run, but he will run/ghost you when you finally figure it out.
David Akerman is also the founder of the fraudulent Kickstarter campaign, Wonderspray ("portable butt shower", Google it), that scammed people out of $330,000+. He knows what he's doing as a scammer: he has enough foundational knowledge and is a very smooth talker, and is able to falsely reassure and put you at ease.
This is a fraudulent merchant that has scammed multiple Shopify partners and apps in an attempt to get free services after using them. The founder John Tolton has been reported by multiple companies already along with his store. We're sorry to hear you had a poor experience with the app - but you've been using it for months and only came up with reasons to attempt to get money back after receiving the service/app for months on end. Also, our team has reached out multiple times in regards to your requests and we didn't hear anything back directly.
This App is of no use, just an extra charge. Please cancel this subscription.
