We got this app and it was so easy to export, update and import the COGs file. Yet at first we were seeing no data pull through. Got in touch with David @ Profiteer and he helped us out. Quick, friendly and really great customer service. Our Profiteer App is now working, and its never been easier for us to work out how we're doing as a store. Great App. Great service.
great app... the ability to attach COGS numbers to products and pull inventory values at anytime is awesome. Thanks so much. Customer service has also been great. I suggested a new feature to David and got a very quick response.

Dave has been absolutely fantastic to deal with! Every time I have had an issue he has been on the phone to fix me up every time. This type of backend support makes the decision to invest the time and money into setting up on any of his apps is well worth it.
Simple and essential
I had a small problem with the app not taking out VAT on POS sales before calculating profit.My email was answered very quickly and the changes were made by Dave in no time at all. The app now works perfectly showing the net profit for both online and POS sales.

Our shopify store has just opened and we are just learning it and setting up our analytics. I saw the Profiteer reports and dashboards, but couldn't find a report or export that linked my COGS with my sales. The dashboard is nice but a screen capture is not easy to use in a report or a spreadsheet.
I called support and discussed with him to see if I just missed it. No, it did not exist but he saw the benefit of having something like this. After discussing this a bit more together, he thought of a way to provide it easily and with minimal impact to both his work list and other customers. Hence the new sales export by date.
While I'm positive that not all requests can be handled this easily or quickly, I appreciate his receptiveness to system improvements and customer needs.
I've written and worked with many costing systems in the past, this one is concise and easy to use.
Just downloaded and installed this app to get numbers straight since Shopify has failed to include such a vital bit of information for legitimate business owners. At $15 a month I would gladly pay that to keep my company running straight. Oh yea and Customer support is on point and very very helpful. Thank you so much for making this affordable app!
Great, simple and really useful app that fills the gap for COGs in our Shopify plan. User-friendly, easy to follow manual and friendly support. Makes EOFY heaps easier!
Really happy with the app so far and support has been super helpful! We needed them to update our COGS sales history for the past 6 months, so we could run monthly COGS reports, and they got it done within 48hours. Thanks Dave :)
This app is a godsend! Wholesale cost and Inventory Value tracking is a huge part of being able to run a successful business and Profiteer has definitely picked up where Shopify dropped this ball.
We switched over to Shopify from a stand alone in-house POS that had all cost tracking integrated and we were at a loss in this regard with Shopify until we found Profiteer. It has been easy to integrate and use. The ability to update costs with CSV files was very helpful with our huge number of unique SKUs. I highly recommend Profiteer!
