I have been using ReleaseIt app on my shopify store for a few months and it has really helped me in converting a lot of COD customers.
Benefits
1. Separate customer journey for COD orders.
2. You can incentivise the prepaid orders by giving discounts for only prepaid orders. ReleaseIt lets you do that.
3. Very Good and prompt support team. I ran into some issue but they rectified it for me even on a Sunday
Recommend it to anyone who wants to implement separate COD order journey.
