We have used the C:Hub Customer Accounts app on and off several times. Over time, the design and functionality of the new customer accounts—particularly the passwordless login—have improved significantly.

However, the setup is still not entirely straightforward. For example, we currently rely on an app called Simple Invoice, which cannot be integrated into the new customer accounts on C:Hub’s side. As a result, we would need to sign up for a different invoicing app, which in turn creates additional bottlenecks elsewhere in our workflow.

Given these limitations, we will need to uninstall the app again for now and revisit it in around six months to see whether further improvements and integrations have been implemented.

Thanks Rene, and sorry for the confusion - our app works on both Shopify’s new passwordless and legacy customer accounts. The demo you saw runs on our legacy version and remains fully usable if you’re on Shopify legacy customer accounts.

I’m sorry for the misunderstanding and that Dave didn’t explain this clearly - he’s very sorry about that. Dave, our head developer, stepped in to handle support while I (Ezra) was away. We’d just released our new account-page version which is compatible with both Shopify legacy and new customer accounts and hadn’t yet updated the demo; it took us a few days after launch, so I apologize for the delay on that and the confusion it caused.
