I really wanted Kite Discounts to work for my store, but after extensive testing and multiple support interactions, I had to uninstall it due to major issues that were never properly addressed. I reported two critical bugs:
1. Progress-bar discounts awarding infinite free products on ALL products being added to cart (confirmed by a member of their team during a live Google Meet).
2. Incorrect pricing displayed in foreign currencies
The widget was using the wrong price for my USD, GBP, EUR, and AUD markets. I have fixed pricing in USD and the app kept showing an incorrect strikeout price. This was not caused by Shopify’s automatic conversion — it was simply pulling the wrong number.

Despite sharing a detailed video, screenshots, and a live demo, support repeatedly misunderstood or dismissed the issues instead of reviewing them properly. I spent a lot of time explaining that I wasn’t asking for custom features — just trying to report two fundamental bugs that could cause serious problems for any merchant running an international store.

The idea behind the app is good, but it feels like it tries to “do everything” without the reliable QA needed for something as sensitive as discount logic. My experience left me frustrated and out of patience, especially with BFCM approaching.

I’m relieved I caught these issues in testing rather than live on my shop, but unfortunately I can’t recommend the app until these bugs and the support process are addressed.
