We run a B2B wholesale perfume store on Shopify Basic and needed something no other app could do: apply a percentage-based shipping insurance fee AND the Spanish "Recargo de Equivalencia" surcharge at checkout, both calculated on the correct discounted subtotal.
After ruling out several other apps, ChargeFee was the only solution that could show a percentage fee directly in the checkout (not just the cart), keep it optional, limit it by country, and recalculate dynamically when the customer selects it.
But what really stands out is Vugar, the founder. He's incredibly responsive, honest, and hands-on. He set everything up himself, integrated the fee logic with our B2B pricing app, and whenever we spotted an edge case, he acknowledged it directly and fixed it fast. He never overpromises; when something wasn't technically possible, he told us straight, and he's careful never to touch a live setup until it's been tested.
If you have a complex fee or surcharge requirement, this is the app, and Vugar is the kind of developer you rarely find. Highly recommended.

Your setup was one of the more interesting challenges we've worked on. Combining Spanish Recargo de Equivalencia, optional shipping insurance, country-specific rules, dynamic percentage calculations, and B2B pricing isn't a typical configuration, so it was rewarding to work through it together and build a solution that fit your business.
I also really appreciate you mentioning the way we work. I've always believed it's better to be transparent about platform limitations than to overpromise.
