Update 10/28: I've decided to remove this app. My score went from 28 to 26. Not good to start with but now worse post installation. I don't need to get into a pissing contest about why. Maybe it's my theme (Grid by Pixel Union) or maybe it's this app. Doesn't matter. I don't have time to play with apps that make bad things worse. Prior feedback 10/27: When will I see my score improve? I just installed the app this afternoon. I started with a 40 a couple of weeks ago using a free Shopify theme. When I upgraded to Pixel Union's Grid theme and added a couple of apps for email and reviews my score dropped to 28. Not sure where the problem is and whether your approach of front loading pages will make a difference but I'd like to know when I may see the change.

Regarding your questions,
- First, I would like to say that this app does NOT affect your page load speed. It preloads links, so it works from the second-page view. Since GTmetrix or Google PageSpeed Insights DO NOT account for the second page, there won't be any difference in scores. It enhances the user experience and the shoppers who access the site can feel it, feel the faster speed.
- Shopify uses Google PageSpeed Insights to evaluate your score. So, it will belong to your theme structure. I think you should contact to theme developer to get more details :)
