This app has glaring design flaws and limited functionality. I should be able to create filters using specific tags that are relevant to certain collections, but there is no way to remove tags from the list OR choose a collection to display that filter on. So, what is the point of this app?

For more control over the filter values shown to buyers, we recommend using product metafields in the Help docs here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/search-and-discovery/filters#add-metafield-filters. These also let you group related metafield values under the same metafield definition to give hierarchy to your filtering dropdowns, which may be more useful to you than a single drop down list of product tags.

cette application est trop limitée et trop statique elle ne permet pas de mettre des collections ou des catégories dans les produits associés. c'est pauvre.

He Shopify, you just added this App and now my customers cant filer and sort anymore. There are only a limited numer of filter optios available and we have much more articles and brands. Please fix this ASAP

Storefront filter settings have moved to the Shopify Search & Discovery app. If you have previously customized your filter settings, we have pre-installed the app for you, so you can continue to make edits. There have been no changes to your previous settings, and your store’s performance will not be impacted by the installation of this app.

You can safely uninstall the app at any point and your filters will keep working as is. If you wish to make changes to the filter settings in the future, you have to reinstall the app.

EIne APP einfach so zu installieren ohne Info? ohne zu fragen? Was genau soll das bewirken? Ich würde gerne selbst entscheiden, ob die App Sinn macht, oder nicht.
Vor allem könnte es ja ggf. dazu führen, dass andere Bereiche meiner Webseite nicht mehr wie gewünscht funktionieren. Fragen... hilft immer. Nichtsdesto trotz habe ich die Funktionen mal geprüft ... aber wie das so ist, wenn man nicht fragt oder nicht die Möglichkeit hat das ganze individuell zu integrieren oder an den Shop anzupassen... dann funktionieren die Integrationen, so gut sie auch sein mögen, nicht wirklich. Idee gut... Umsetzung unterirdisch. Bitte anpassen.

Wenn Sie Ihre Filtereinstellungen zuvor angepasst haben, haben wir die App für Sie installiert, sodass Sie weiterhin Änderungen vornehmen können. Es wurden keine Änderungen an Ihren vorherigen Einstellungen vorgenommen, und die Leistung Ihres Shops wird durch die Installation dieser App nicht beeinträchtigt.

Sie können die App jederzeit sicher deinstallieren und Ihre Filter funktionieren unverändert weiter. Wenn Sie zukünftig Änderungen an den Filtereinstellungen vornehmen möchten, müssen Sie die App neu installieren.

Doesn't work for me. Impossible to create a new filter. I try to modify a old filter but it's doesn't work

Hi there, the majority of filter display issues are because the Online Store theme template is improperly coded or modified. We recommend contacting your theme's developer, or with any apps that make changes to your collections or search pages. You can check if it's a theme issue by installing a new version of the Dawn theme (or any free theme) and using the preview/customize feature to see if filters are working as expected. If they do display, that confirms the issue is with the theme code of your published theme, or some app changes. If the issue exists on a new installation of Dawn, feel free to contact Shopify's Support lines. Cheers!

Thanks for reaching out. We took at look at your storefront and saw that there is a custom filtering feature that lets buyers chose a car variant, make and model. It looks like this feature sometimes controls the collection page layout, but not consistently. When the filters do appear, they seem to work as intended. We recommend reaching out to the developer or App that integrated this car part filtering feature to see if they can help ensure filters are always shown.

Update: also, depending on the size of your collections and search results, filters will not be shown. See the Limitations section in the Help Docs: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/search-and-discovery/filters#limitations. Our team is aware the product count limitation for filters is an issue for merchants, and apologize for the inconvenience while we work a path forward.
