Update 9/9/2022 - we have now let the Smart Search and Filter app take over our collections. After realizing that our customers convert at 10% after searching, we decided to always make sure they are using search. Customers are very happy about all the filters and the way the pages look. First of all, team of Searchanise is just wonderful. Anytime I have a request, they come back quickly and always solve my problem.
And the app itself, just simply: works (which is not so obvious for many apps, unfortunately). For me, as I run a French store, possibility to customize every text is crutial. I'm really glad I have this app on my site :)
