App page is a little misleading. Says there is a free version, but it's only for stores under 60 days old and with less than 5 orders. No issue with the developers wanting to charge for their hard work, but if you're looking for a free appm this isn't it.

In relation to your main concern about Free plan, we have Free plan, however please be advised that we offer a Free plan for stores that are created in more than 60 days and have no more than 5 orders in the hopes of helping them in the early stages. For your case, we are deeply sorry for making you confused because the information about Free plan is not clear enough, however hope you sympathize for us, on App information because of the limit rule of character from Shopify we cannot provide its information in details, meanwhile our concern team is checking on this to avoid misleading in the future

support is nice and competent. unfortunately with 1000+ products, the app doesn't make sense (checkout not translatable, corrections not possible)

With your feedback about our limitation with +1000 products, I've already forwarded to my Dev team and noted down to our update list. We're aware of this limitation would might affect not only to your business but also other customers. Because of some technical limit and server, we've been trying to improve this downside and definitely will consider and change this limitation better in the near improvement. So please stay tuned. Will keep you updated once got any news.
For translating checkout page and editing translation, you have to just add language as advance language. You added language as basic that's the reason it was not translating checkout page and you were unable to edit translation. As I have seen that my colleague has sent you follow-up email please let them know if you need further support.

If yes, as usual, after your page fully renders, the switcher button will shown around 3 seconds. We have realized this and it will be improved in the next version.

Transcy - Translate Language and Convert Currency
Staff is super helpful and even contacted me to help me install the language/currency dropdown themselves. The only downside is it overlaps everything on the site when scrolling. I thought it would be managed via the Shopify language switcher, so I'm not sure I'll keep it.

The app has a user friendly frontend. Great agents supports. Unfortunately the app does not let you chose what pages do you want to translate when you are in the onboarding process.

Regarding to your concern, for making it clear that on boarding process, our app will let users choose sections or pages they want to translate, so I am wondering you accidentally selected all pages to translate.

After installing the app their snippet was not removed, and it ranked our website on Gtmetrix (YSlow) to (D) , to remove their code here is what you need to do, go to the theme.liquid file under layout and remove/hide the below code: {% include 'fa_translate_core' %}
Also delete their snippet file : fa_translate_core
That should remove it for good, I hope they can fix this issue in the near future.
