This app allows merchant to hide express checkout payment methods like PayPal, Apple Pay, etc. at the checkout information step. Customer still can select Paypal at the payment selection step. Some customers when they see the express checkout payment methods when initiating checkout, they might think those are the only options and might bounce if they don't have it. By hiding those methods, you can potentially reduce checkout abandonment.

Is Shopify moronic for requiring using a special app just to hide the Paypal button? YES! But that's where the hero developer of this app saves the day. Since people have only wanted this feature for 10+ years Shopify... so I scold Shopify and praise this dev at the same time.
Absolute deal-breaker app! I noticed a lot of people abandoning the checkout because they thought they could only pay through PayPal or other express checkout payment methods. Thanks to this app, people are not getting confused anymore :)
Axel helped me a few times when Shopify suddenly changed things again, causing the app not to work properly; always responded very quickly and took time to understand issues.
