The free version has a lot of useful tools for image edits and SEO.
I use this app to help reduce the file size of images and resize them in order to have faster load times. It works great. Super easy to use. I gave it 4 stars because there is no way to upload individual images that aren't product images or asset images.
Thank you for your comment. We decided to add the feature you requested. Now in Bulk Image Edit, you can upload individual images from a zip file. This feature works across all image types: product images, asset images, collection images, blog images and setting file images.

We found Bulk Image Edit by Hextom to be a great tool for two things: 1) Converting all images into consistent square shapes for a great and consistent look and 2) Adding Alt-Text. We had over 17,000 sku's to deal with and this app saved us a tremendous amount of time and money. You do have to pay for the higher level of images processed but the monthly cost is very reasonable and you can drop down to the lower price or free versions (limited images per month) anytime you want. Highly recommended

The App does a good job compressing pictures and doing some of the key SEO tasks for images. I wish it would also create an image sitemap as well as a way to protect our pictures so they cannot be downloaded by 3rd parties. Overall a good App.
