J’ai payé 3 800 $ pour un abonnement annuel à ConvertMate, en pensant investir dans une solution sérieuse et performante. Trois mois après mon paiement, l’équipe a modifié sa grille tarifaire : le même plan que j’avais choisi est désormais facturé 290 $ par an. Autrement dit, plus de dix fois moins cher !

Quand j’ai contacté le support pour résilier à la fin de ma période d'engement, leur réponse a été tout simplement lunaire : on me dit de désinstaller l’application depuis Shopify pour “ne plus être facturé”.
Aucune procédure formelle, aucune confirmation écrite, aucune transparence.

Je suis écoeurée.
Non seulement cette application ne m’a strictement rien apporté (aucune amélioration SEO, aucun gain mesurable, aucune valeur ajoutée concrète), mais en plus je me sens trahi et arnaqué par une société qui change ses tarifs sans prévenir et refuse toute véritable résiliation.

ConvertMate, c’est une leçon à 3 800 $ : fuyez cette application et gardez vos économies pour un service honnête et professionnel.

Absolutely Disappointing – Zero Support & Complete Waste of Money!

I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to warn anyone considering Convert Mate for their Shopify store. After spending a month trying to get this app to work, I’m genuinely baffled at how they have any positive feedback at all.

First off, the app simply does not deliver what it promises. I installed Convert Mate with high hopes, thinking it would help streamline some marketing processes and bring insights to improve ZenithEndure.com. Right from the start, it was buggy and unintuitive—multiple features either didn’t work at all, or they were so poorly implemented that they were unusable. Scheduled reports never sent, and when they did, the data was incomplete or delayed to the point of being irrelevant. I spent hours trying to troubleshoot and reading through scant documentation that just repeated generic instructions with no real solutions.

But the absolute worst part is the customer support—it’s non-existent. After hitting a wall with the features, I reached out for help thinking a quick response or guidance would resolve my issues. No reply. I rated the app 1 star hoping it might prompt a reaction. Still nothing. Over the course of 30 days, I’ve submitted tickets, emails, and even tried reaching out on social media, and to date, I have not received a single response. Not a “thank you for reaching out,” not a “we’re looking into your issue”—nothing! It’s as if customer support is a myth.

Honestly, this app is a trap for small business owners like myself—promising easy DIY solutions but delivering nothing but headaches and regret. I feel like I’ve just thrown my money away for absolutely zero value. There are far better apps out there for your Shopify store, with real support and features that actually work.

Save your time, money, and sanity. Avoid Convert Mate at all costs. I wish someone had warned me before I wasted so much energy on this useless app.

Setting up ConvertMate was super easy! I got my AI agent running so fast. It helps with my marketing and saves me a ton of time. The support team is super nice and quick to help. Totally worth the price!

Our experience with ConvertMate showed technical promise but was ultimately undone by unethical business practices.

On a functional level, the app struggled with content generation in Finnish, though we acknowledge this is a challenge that will likely improve with future LLM advancements and continuous prompt editing.

The critical issue that led us to uninstall was a matter of principle. As loyal, early adopters, we actively supported ConvertMate by providing feedback, brainstorming ideas with the core team, and even assisting in their due diligence with a potential investor. We were therefore dismayed to discover that the company had introduced a new, more affordable pricing tier without informing us. This omission cost our company €500 per month for several months, as we were kept on a legacy plan while new customers paid less.

When we noticed and addressed this, the founder's response was dismissive, offering excuses instead of a refund or compensation for the overpayments.

Given this profound lack of transparency and fairness, we can no longer support the company. While the product may evolve, we have chosen to partner with other businesses that operate with greater integrity.

We have been using ConvertMate at sanroccoitalia.it for about a month now, and I am really impressed. The app is very expensive as far as apps go, but worth the investment. It is easy to use and saves an enormous amount of time. I am on the scale plan, and love the Magic Blog and Magic Link features (among all the rest). I have already seen a big uptick in organic traffic and the support is top-notch. Boris was extremely responsive with my questions and getting things up and running, and they sort out even the smallest concern immediately. Don’t hesitate, give it a try!

Love the speed of pushing AI tags, the team is incredible to work with and attended to all our needs in timely fashion.

Also the interface is super solid making it easy to see the AI suggestions and make huge push on product SEO tags that would've taken us years to accomplish without ConvertMate.

Boris and Marc have been on top of their game regarding customer service.

Optimizing SEO is challenging, mainly when different stores use different themes and layouts. ConvertMate handles this well, and the team has been very responsive to discussing our particular needs. It's been a pleasure working with Boris, as he understands our needs well and has actively noted our feedback for Improvements.

The ability to generate content based on Metafields makes customising descriptions much easier.

I am confident that we will succeed with the integration of ConvertMate.

I've only been using ConvertMate for a few weeks, so it's too early to fully assess the app's impact on our SEO, as these results take time. However, I can already see that it’s making progress in sorting out and improving our SEO.

What stands out to me is the excellent customer service and support. Boris has been incredibly accessible and helpful, both before I downloaded the app and during the onboarding process. He provided valuable suggestions on how to tackle some challenging products and improve our SEO. Additionally, when an unrelated issue with simple coding arose, Boris stepped in and quickly helped resolve it.

So far, my experience with ConvertMate has been very positive, and the support has been outstanding. I look forward to seeing the long-term results and will provide a more comprehensive review in the future.

I love convertmate! its so easy to use and personally I think its satisfying for how easy it is to setup everything up and it automates your SEO for you in just a click of a button. I will admit it is pricey but you're gonna have to pay the price for the quality and the effectiveness of the app.

With subscription charges of $300 to $500 per month, the prices are excessively high, especially for entrepreneurs or small businesses looking for an affordable SEO solution.

If you are an entrepreneur seeking automated SEO for your business, I don't think Convertmate is the right platform due to these inflated costs. Even if you manage to commit to their subscription plans, there's no clear assurance that your website will rank higher or generate sufficient sales to justify the ongoing expense. How can anyone be confident in the return on investment when the pricing is so steep and the results aren't guaranteed?

It seems like Convertmate is more focused on generating revenue through subscriptions than truly helping businesses in need of effective, affordable SEO solutions. Until they offer more transparency, better access to features, and a clearer value proposition, I can't recommend this platform for anyone looking for real results.
