Discounty: Bulk Discount Sales

I had an issue, and Pearl was extremely helpful! She answered promptly and was very eager to assist!

This app is great if you if you only have one market or if you don't have fixed pricing. Its a quick way to apply and remove discounts but doesn't work if you have fixed prices.
Customer service gets 5-stars though, they are always knowledgeable, speedy, and efficient. Special thanks to Nilou for solving my issue in minutes.

Great app if you want to stack discount codes and has great customer service if your having trouble setting the codes up.
Price is a little expensive and the 2 basic price points don't include the more advances code set up - which is why I downloaded the app as Shopify doesn't allow stacking.
Overall, a great app

Great addition to our store! We were looking for the tools to entice customers with volume discounts, etc. and we found what we've been looking for in Discounty. Their fast, friendly (talking about you, Pearl) customer service has also been a pleasant plus. Highly recommend!

Great app for easy product discounting! Some work is needed in setting up the products in your store but easy to use once this is done.

I’ve been using Discounty and overall it’s a solid app with some real strengths, but also a few things that don’t quite work for my store.

On the positive side, the customer service has been phenomenal — Pearl and Grace were professional, helpful, and quick to assist. The built-in chatbot is excellent as well — knowledgeable, easy to use, and great for quick troubleshooting. Together, they’ve made support one of the strongest parts of this app. The app also uses Shopify’s native UI, which makes it intuitive and easy to navigate, and it gives you the ability to set discounts for individual products, which Shopify doesn’t natively provide.

Where things fall short for me is in the limitations. The biggest is the pricing model, which is based on product variants — the more sizes, colors, or product options you add, the higher your monthly cost climbs. For a store that’s constantly adding new products, this just isn’t sustainable. I also ran into problems with discount stacking, since offers created in Discounty don’t automatically block other discounts from being applied. That led to customers combining promotions in ways I didn’t intend, which is a dealbreaker for my setup. On top of that, much of the functionality overlaps with Shopify’s native discount tools, making the app feel somewhat redundant in my case.

Overall, I think Discounty has a lot of potential and is backed by a great support team, but the pricing structure and discount stacking limitations make it difficult for me to justify long term. For merchants who need finer control over individual product discounts, this app could be very useful — but for a growing catalog like mine, it isn’t the right fit.

The only thing to note is that since we sell internationally and had fixed prices set for various regions, it became quite complicated to apply discount pricing. I had to manually adjust each region's pricing to non-fixed in order for the discounts to work properly.

This app works perfectly if you're selling locally or not using fixed pricing structures. Overall, it’s a great tool with outstanding support.

The app and my website theme weren't totally compatible and were both showing the "savings" in the cart (ie: the "savings" under the Subtotal were appearing twice, once from my theme and once from the Discounty App. I spoke with Nareh via chat and had it sorted within a few minutes. This is my first time using this app, but so far my experience has been good.
