The software is a great blend of mailchimp and constant contact; however, the customer service is almost non-existent. I've been having issues for a week with their automations, but I've yet to get a response. I finally got a response regarding another issue, but that took 7 days.
We used to run our business with Active Campaign, which is a great tool, but not too integrated with Shopify. After trying our Klaviyo and having the worst customer service ever, we found out Drip. It´s as powerful as Klaviyo, tracking pretty much everything a user does on your website, but with fair customer service and much better UX. It still has to increase it´s integration with other tools such as Review Tools, but it was a very good movement for our business. We now have a much more consistent communication with our customers and better understanding of their behavior.
THEY WHO DARE
This is the least capable and stable email marketing platform I have tried and tested, and I have used ALL the major platforms. It is the poorest because of numerous bugs and performance issues involving syncing contacts, automations, and subscriber form failures. Many other issues you can read about in other comments. But what truly makes Drip so bad is the customer service. It is non-existent. I have emailed, called and messaged online a number of times and have never got one response. Please consider another platform unless your store's marketing is not important for your business.
Drip is an excellent marketing automation tool. It's both simple to use out of the box, and is highly customizable to fit all of our complex needs. We love the split testing features, as well as the data visualizations provided to highlight what's working and what has room to improve. We've always had great experience with Support & the technical team — anytime we have a question, they work with us right away. They're constantly releasing improvements and new useful features, which means the platform and available tools just keep getting better. Drip has become a very reliable revenue generator for our company. Highly recommend.
Fast customer service before you buy in, super slow and unfair business handling after!!! We had a major billing issue with them. They promised us a 30 days free trial however after 14 days we were fully charged for a full month. When we address their customer support, they sent us to resolve the issue with Shopify billing saying they have no control. We went back to Shopify which in return send us back to drip. When we wrote back to support it took them time to reply and then another billing cycle happened. Eventually, after another attempt to reach a different customer service member, we were told that they are sorry and that the issue will be reviewed. Of course, no one came back to us for a few weeks, with another billing cycle and charges made. When I finally threatened to place a dispute i got a reply and suddenly they were willing to process a credit. I wonder why they could have not done it the first time, 3 months ago. We never used the app or sent out even a single email !! Their app might be good, but the service is unacceptable.

It's a good tool, not without a few operational problems that seem to have been worked through eventually.
Pricing is expensive compared to competitors and payment options exclude the virtual VISA cards issued by FX payment services like Airwallex. These issues matter to Shopify store owners that don't operate in US dollars.

Drip is the most powerful advanced tool I've ever used for business. It tracks your customer journey including the pages and products they visited even if they haven't purchased yet. I highly recommend this for all Shopify stores who want to take their business to the next level.
Drip is the best email marketing software we have ever used, its the perfect cross between MailChimp (the visuals and ease of use) and Hubspot (the CRM and advanced capacities). Visually it's a treat to work with and the team is constantly coming out with updates and improvements, never stagnant. Highly reccommend.

The app works great. The best app I have used so far. 4 stars because they can improve on notifications to the account holders when there is an issue. I am told the team is working on it. Hopefully, they will get this resolved soon. Highly recommend using this app.
