i was reading the GDPR requirement and from what I gathered, for the cookie banner to be compliant, it must have an option for visitors to select which cookies they permit.
i found this app and another that had this functionality but decided to go with this one because it displays very nicely on the site.
i ran into a minor issue and needed some adjustments regarding where the privacy link was showing up. Joyce assisted me with this and was very sweet and fixed all my problems

The app actually delivers on the GDPR requirements, unlike many other apps who claim it, but don't comply. It is easy to customize to the style of our websites, and the very best of it all, is the fast and thorough response by the Omega team who managed to implement my specific requirements and help me copy the cookie settings from one domain to our others as well.
