Terrible first experience with JetPrint. I placed only 2 orders with them, and the first customer order already arrived with a clear defect.
The product was an LED mousepad/desk mat. The LED strip was visibly not attached properly to the mat in one area, and the customer reported unstable/flickering lights and a loose connection. I sent JetPrint both a video and photo showing the issue.
Instead of taking responsibility, they repeatedly claimed this was “normal” or caused by rough handling during shipping, and told me to explain the lighting modes to my customer or ask the customer to manually adjust the LED strip themselves. That is completely unacceptable. A customer should not receive a new product and then be asked to fix the LED strip by hand.
Their support refused both a replacement and a refund, even though this was a low-cost item and clearly a bad-quality product. I have sold worked with other print-on-demand suppliers over the past 5 years, and this is honestly the worst customer support I have experienced from a POD platform.
This was supposed to be a test to see if JetPrint could become an additional production partner for my business. Instead, they lost a valuable customer immediately. I now have to order a replacement from a competitor and deal with the risk of a bad customer review because JetPrint refused to fix their own quality issue.
Very poor quality control, very poor support, and very bad business practice. I will not be using JetPrint again.
Do NOT waste your time or money! I designed and ordered 2 products; a tumbler and a licence plate frame. The drink hole for the tumbler wasn't lined up properly to be 90 degrees to where you would hold it, more like 45 degrees. Customer support argued with me, yes argued, to say that the holes are randomly placed and beyond their control. I didn't list the product. I listed and promoted the licence plate frame but after selling just one, it went out of stock. The same customer service told me to change my store settings to allow selling out of stock items as it is always in stock. Based on past reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue. If the item is in stock, then list it as in stock; it's really not that hard. I demand a higher standard for my customers. Knowingly selling non-centred items or items that are out of stock while customers wait for an undetermined length of time is not acceptable. These are sub-par business standards and I will not tolerate them. Jet print lost significant business from us and I encourage my fellow business owners to reconsider doing business with them as well.
Just a heads up for anyone planning to use PayPal to pay for orders. Despite the note above saying “it works with PayPal”, that is no longer accurate.
PayPal was removed as a payment option over 4 months ago and has not been reinstated. We have followed this up every month since it was removed and have consistently been told that there has been no update from the finance department.
After 4 months, that response is difficult to accept. Either it is being worked on(to reinstate), or it is not. It should not take this long to confirm something so straightforward.
PayPal had been available for years, so its removal without notice, combined with the lack of a clear answer on if or when it will return, leads to one obvious conclusion (which has been denied by JetPrint).
Lastly, beware of their “express” shipping. It is not the full express model used by most. For US orders, a local Chinese carrier will ship it from China to Canada (slowly). Where it will be handed over to Fedex. This often takes longer than Yun Express which goes direct to the US and costs 3-4 times less than Fedex.
