Available settings in free plan are limited to the point of being useless. Other apps allow for far more advanced automation, we tested mailer lite for e-mail-marketing-campaigns. Turned out free plan doesn't even allow for adjusting language settings (for the newsletter subscription confirmations) which can quickly turn into legal troubles. The parts you can edit will save as edited but are not mailed out (the English defaults are sent anyways). Might be a good choice once paid for, doesn't convince me to do so.
It took e a while to understand how to make things work, but I also don't really have much knowledge in this field. I started to use it this week, it seems easy enough to understand and follow along with stats.
I was looking for a system to send e-mail newsletters and I think I finally managed to do it :)
That’s awesome to hear! Getting started with something new can take a little time, but we’re so happy you figured it out and got your newsletter up and running. It only gets easier from here!
If you ever want to dive deeper, we have plenty of tutorials and MailerLite Academy courses to help you along the way. And of course, we’re always here if you need a hand. 😊
Not easy to use. There are many glitches and server errors when trying to set up the pop-ups and automations. It's been over a week. Time to cut my losses and move on.
We’re really sorry to hear this. That’s definitely not the experience we want for our users, and we’d love to understand what happened. If you’re open to it, please email us at feedback@mailerlite.com. We’d really appreciate the chance to learn more and see how we can help. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
Trust the poor reviews! I decided to go ahead and give them a try, and when I decided to pay for my 10k+ subscriber list they had a 30% off for 3 months. I clicked the link to apply this discount and it didn't work. So I reached out to customer service. The first rep (Andrew) refused to honor it as it doesn't work with Shopify billing them. After about 10 emails back and forth I left a poor review in their system for his customer service and a manager got back to me.
The manager (Daniel) offered me about 40% of one month as a credit and I mentioned how I don't understand the math. He then said you are correct! And lowered his offer to 30% of a month. And will not offer the 30% of 3 months.
I will be taking my business elsewhere as I recommend you do as well.
We've paid over $200 to MailerLite for our subscription, and we migrated our subscribers from Mailchimp.
We've completed the configuration, compliance, domain authentication, etc., yet after sending out our first campaign today, our account has been blocked and "Placed under review".
We've only used 10,000 of our UNLIMITED monthly emails and 10,000 of our 15,000 allowed subscribers.
They've blocked me from contacting customer support, as it requires us to submit it from our logged-in account page.
I also can't delete my account or manage it in any way. So what now?
I connected this app a few days ago and I hadn't enabled the app in my app embedder so I thought it wasn't working. Chat support connected in minutes and my issue was sorted within 10 minutes and I was up and running adding my shopify produts into my emails. Happy days
I would give the app a higher rating if it worked, which it does not. It appears to create a sub-account within my existing and paid mailerlite account and although Mailerlite instructions indicate to enter the API address during the integration process, that option does not appear.
I do not know if they released this without testing and verification, that's what it appears like to me and I have decades of software development, testing, and launch experience. If I ever do get this to work properly I'll update my review.
Nothing to complain here - seems to work like it should :)
Se demoraron como 5 mails en entender el problema que tenía (parecía broma). Me repetían y repetían recomendaciones absurdas. Bloque de carrito abandonado no funciona y llevo días esperando a que alguien solucione el problema. Mientras pierdo ventas y más ventas, yo sigo pagando 30 usd al mes... Pésimo servicio al cliente
Poor support, app is complicated not merchant friendly.
