Modalyst for Suppliers

We have more than 1900 retailers connected with this app and thought it was cool. But noticed 1874 accounts are inactive and fake. All those fake retailer account name starts with My Site... and some numbers with Chinese characters.. No time to decline those accounts one by one.

The onboarding process was smooth and well-structured, making it easy to get started. The support team has been responsive, helpful, and quick to answer any questions along the way. It’s clear they care about helping suppliers succeed on the platform. Great experience so far.

I found the Modalyst website and read all about it and it seemed to fit how my company operates very well. I installed the Modalyst App for Suppliers on Shopify. I had one problem with the product syncing and contacted customer service through the online chat. I was again surprised when the customer service person took such an interest in my store and products. He reviewed my store and my products, gave me several tips and a couple things to change. I made the changes and submitted the application for acceptance to Modalyst. Again, I was surprised to receive emails during the time that the application was being processed. The application was accepted. I ended up talking to several people during this process and the level of help and interest was genuinely phenomenal. If the time my store spends on Modalyst goes as well as the application process it should be fantastic relationship. I genuinely thank the staff at Modalyst for all the help, advice, and recommendations.

As the supplier, I'm very happy with the service provided by Modalyst so far. We have a very large catalog and things are taking a while to get products fully loaded. The integration is very straight forward and seems to be effective. In a short period of time we have already started to see new retailers add our products to their sites.

Jose has been very helpful! We're now waiting for our products to go live and hopefully this will bring us more retailers to resell our products.

We have had a very bad experience with this Modalyst and cannot recommend this company. Here are some of the issues we experienced:

1) Platform didn't sync with our inventory as it is supposed. So if you remove something from your shop it continues to be available for sale through their platform and we would get orders for items that were sold out and removed from our shop.

2) They control how much we the supplier can charge for shipping. You end up losing money on shipping because they require you ship all items regardless of size and weight for $5 domestic and international shipping rates are an even bigger joke.
3) They try to hold suppliers responsible if a product the supplier ships is lost or stolen or doesn't get delivered by the delivery company. They don't get that a supplier responsibility ends once the package is provided to the shipping company for delivery. In the event a product is not shipped but not delivered the only taking a loss is the Supplier as the product has been shipped and the shipping company has been paid.

I've been working with them for years and will continue to! It's helped send a lot of sales our way.

We were one of the earlier brands to enroll with them and have really enjoyed working with them. One of the easiest platforms to work with if you are a supplier for drop ship stores.

We enjoy using this app for our store. We've gotten quite a few drop ship orders through their network. Definitely better than most other drop ship sites.
