Modify Promotional Lightbox

App no longer works! I uploaded my pop up image and now there's nothing!

Fantastic app. It saved us a lot of time due to the fast implementation. The support from the developer is superb. Highly recommended!

Front end is pretty nice, decent functionality overall. Back end is not well-coded. There's a fixed dependency on a single server (non-CDN). If this server is down, the two script-loading calls fail, completely halting all other scripts from executing. Why not async? Why not error-trap? Why not copy and let host locally?

To add insult, when this server is down, you also can't disable the plug-in. Your site and its users will be stuck in this dysfunctional mode until the devs restore the services. Even if you uninstall the plug-in altogether, the script-loading directives are still present, causing your site to continue to lag and fail.

I'm really happy with this app and so happy with the price. I feel like "client capture" situations are important and knew I needed to step it up and get a pop up I just had no idea which app to use.

This one is the cheapest and does exactly what I need - pops up on my homepage, gathers an email address and links it to my Mailchimp account.

I did need help centering it which I was given shortly by the folks at Lightbox - they were really helpful in clarifying everything and getting it to look the way I wanted.

If you're on the fence I say jump over and do it.

So far so good. The folks at Mod Media have been very helpful and have even done a little extra work for us very specific to our needs to help show a light box to various customer types. It's working out really well so far and I have been impressed with their level of customer service!! Highly recommend trying this app and working with Mod Media.
