I was having an issue with spam customers generating bogus discount codes that would never be used. Obviously I don't want to pay for those so I reached out to support for a solution. Not only did they offer more than one, but Dominik was so patient with my questions to help me get to a final resolution. He even offered to not charge me for the first month while we figured everything out. Good customer service like this is hard to come by. Thank you again!

Every once in a while it randomly does not generate a code for a customer, then they see no code in the automated email I send them, they email me, and I have to take time out of my day to manually generate a code for them. And that's just the customers that DO email me back. I have no idea how many sales I'm missing out on because it doesn't generate the code, but the customer doesn't bother emailing me.
Support said they'd investigate it and get back to me, but it's been almost a week and still no resolution.
It's great. I needed some help and Lukasz got back to me right away. It's working perfectly with MailerLite.
Works perfectly just as it's meant to! Shopify had a weird glitch initially which stopped us from being able to use this app properly (nothing to do with the app, 100% a Shopify problem) and the app developer went out of his way to help us fix it (even though he was on holiday and does all of the support himself!) really happy and can highly recommend this app to anyone looking to automate a discount program.
This team has created a great value/help, they offer it very inexpensively and are very responsive if there's any question or concern. Definitely recommend it to everyone in need of such service as they provide!
The developer jumped in to solve a confusion right away, which is really all you can ask for. One aspect is a bit frustrating at first but, again, it made a big difference in the way the developer solved the problem. Thank you.
I'm very sorry for the bad experience.
It happened because you also installed the Mailchimp app at the same time which started synchronizing your old customers. Our app creates a discount code for every subscriber added to your audience. It's technically not possible to distinguish whether an added subscriber is truly new or comes from a sync of an existing database.
We won't charge you for the unwanted codes. Our billing script already detects such situations. We're also always open to refunds.
Lukasz has been very helpful in developing the app further to meet our requirements. Really great support! Imagine quality of the codes could be a bit better, but that does not stop us from using this app further. Great app in comparison to the other options!
The app is amazing and neatly slots into whatever emailing list system you use. I've had extensive correspondence with the developer when troubleshooting and have had queries answered extremely fast. This is basically just a really sound app with a solid team behind it, I would highly recommend

This is a fantastic service so far. Very easy to set up and codes work great. I watched a video early on that said I should use these guys and then after about 3 hours trying other ways i went with them and wondered why i wasted so much time. Working well in conjunction with our mailchimp account.
Our shop has had a really positive experience with Personal Discount. Set up is easy and the app just works — you can truly set it and forget it. Mailchimp integration is smooth as butter. Pricing model is very reasonable and communication with the developer has been great. Overall, we highly recommended this app.
