GG Quick View: Hover Slideshow

Excellent app, simple and functions as expected. We have been using GG Product Gallery and now tried the preview slider app which is also great! Nikolay was extremely helpful and very fast to respond to our query for improving our site UX by implementing a sliding transition feel to the preview slider. Superb customer support!

This app works awesome for both of my e-commerce Shopify stores! Thanks to GG Quick View & Hover Slider, my customers can preview products without leaving the page and this provides a better user experience. If you happen to have trouble setting up the app. then the app manager or customer support will fix it right up! Their response time is super fast as well!

Customer service was completely unresponsive. We gave the app a fair try but couldn’t get it to function properly on mobile devices. Support was extremely poor throughout the process. Don’t waste your time.

This is the response I got from the app when I asked them to customize their app a second time, because their first fix got broken. The first fix was done in 5 minutes.

If you want advanced help, these guys were not willing to do that for our African art gallery, which is not good as other apps do at the same price tier of $1.99 a month. It comes down to a matter of will, time, and money and they are not willing to help us when it comes to their app. Do you want to risk that for your site too? Then don't install this app.

On the flip side, when the app was working, it was fine and useful. I used it without a problem for about a month until when my site broke and their app was the last I needed to be adjusted.

This is what they told me in an email in full so you can see in full:

"I understand your frustration, but some issues don’t have simple solutions. I personally reviewed your code, and I don’t need collaboration access for this, so your assumption isn’t accurate.

As a business owner, you understand that sometimes saying "no" is necessary. If there were an easy fix, I’d absolutely do my best to help - I always do if it's technically possible, as you can see in the reviews.

When I mentioned the $2 price, it was to highlight that custom requests like yours are a different case. Blaming developers does not change the reality that your setup requires a custom solution.

I honestly tried to help and wish you success!"

amazing app, easy to configure, and quick responses from the support team. the app was not working correctly for me on mobile on initial download, but the support team was able to help me with a solution within an hour.

Great, simple solution to helping people scroll through multiple product images on our collection pages before clicking through to product pages. Hopefully will improve our PDP conversion rate!

Realized that on mobile, the hover second image was making it hard to click through to a product so I contacted customer support who was able to disable it on mobile but keep it on desktop within a few hours. Very impressed with the team!
