Love this app. We used it for Black Friday and it worked amazingly well and VERY easy to use. When I first installed it I reached out to support for some customization and the team there was great. They helped me immediately and were very responsive and helped. Thank you Parminder and Guri

let's just say we haven't gotten started off on the right foot with bold apps. i read all the reviews, spent hours setting up my BFCM sale, got excited for it to launch, then the day of I woke up to dozens of emails and DMs from frustrated customers saying the discount disappeared when they go to the cart. 8 hours later of being on and off with customer support a solution was found...by me! the slide out cart app we had seemed to be causing the problem, i deleted it and went on my way as it seemed everything was working fine. went to bed exhausted, then woke up to our drop down menu not working and the bold discount app applying 20% off of everything (including brands that are never allowed to go on sale), now my thanksgiving day is being spent (again) being consumed with trying to get this resolved. frustrating to say the least, i don't have a happy experience with bold 11.28.20 UPDATE
So if one of your experts reach out it wasn't to me as I haven't received any requests from anyone at BOLD. I would be interested in speaking with them.

To start out with we are using a suite of Bold apps. Customer Pricing, Product Options, Product Upsell, Loyalty Points, Product Discount and Bold Brain. All of the apps working together have allowed us to expand and manage multiple aspects of our business. Customer Pricing allows us to target specific customer groups for professional discount programs by industry. We use targeted marketing to promote registering for the special discount programs. The customers in these groups are tagged and see adjusted pricing as soon as they login to the store. The ease at which the discounting is handled has encouraged the users in these groups to purchasing more frequently.

The majority of our catalog is customized or personalized and requires a degree of complexity in presenting the various offerings. Product Options allows us to manage those complex products. Product Upsell allows us to present complementary products when specific products are purchased, Product Discount allows us to create BOGOs, Sales and special promotions all designed to increase revenue. Loyalty Points allows us to build interest and repeat business. All of these apps working together have helped to increase activity in the store. The fact that they are all Bold apps makes them easy to manage and gives us access to the excellent Bold support team

These guys are amazing. They have saved the day 2 years in a row for me on Black Friday weekend. Most importantly, they are available to help on the eve of Black Friday and the morning of Black Friday - the busiest times of the year for ecommerce. Other companies/apps not only don't have the chat feature available, but they don't respond for a week. When it really matters, these guys are there for you, with no wait time (great when you are panicking) and fix issues even if they didn't cause them. I can't say enough great things about the support (Brysen especially.) And the apps themselves, the BEST. I use 4 of them and each one performs perfectly. Thank you, Bold. Great apps, amazing service, if I could give 10 stars, I would.

So far, I'm not impressed. Not only did I pay to have them adjust the appearance of my sale icon and it has not been completed in the 2-day time frame, but when I add items to my sale, they do not get added to the app's rules so half of my collection does not appear to be on sale.

I did email them about this but haven't heard back from anyone. I'll revise my review as my experience changes. Fingers crossed that this gets better.

*UPDATE 2/13/17* Sadly I am having problems with the sale prices not being calculated/showing. I have contacted support and will update this review accordingly.

On a positive note, once I got someone to help me with installing the sale banner, they were AWESOME to work with and went above and beyond to make that right.

I used this app to create multiple discount rates for different products. It was really user-friendly, very intuitive and perfect for my need. I selected it from a list of suggestions by the Shopify Support staff and have so far only explored this feature f multiple discount rates.
Am eager to explore it more. Thank you!

What I'd love to see is the following:
1) List of all products in my webstore with an input box to enter what discount I want to offer for that product
2) When creating multiple discount rates for the products, it would really help if a product that has already been marked in a Discount X% list is not shown as an option in the Discount Y% list when I am selecting products for Discount Y%. I had to go back and forth a lot, till I finally colour coded my product list in Excel with different colours for each slab, so I could cross check whether I had already assigned a discount for a product or not.

That said, I still think it's a great app!
