I use Upsell since a couple of weeks and I use it for my eCommerce store that sells professional weather instruments (weatherstationary.com). The app is very "precious" to me as I use it to create upsells offers and bundles. I had some issues implementing the code in my store theme, but the guys & girls from the Support Team were truly great and helped me along the process. Now everything goes well, therefore I just bought & installed their "Discount" App.
Careful installing ANY BOLD App!! They add a ton of code. We have been down all week. The apps do not all talk to each other, a lot of features are not intuitive, and URGENT in the BOLD world, is now 6 DAYS!! When they work they are great, but when they don't it is a nightmare!

It looks like Eric has answered your most recent questions in regards to different apps and the checkout limitations. We hope that the solutions offered will align with your business' needs, as we are unfortunately limited when it comes to other third-party apps.

We just purchase Product Upsell and are in the process (actually this weekend) of implementing it on our site.
Shop the Hound has been in business since 2011. It started with one product and I didn't even have a store, had never been in sales (I was always in Purchasing) and so I built my business from scratch. The store has gone through some growing pains in the past year as we moved platforms twice and are now loving Shopify.
I realized recently the store really need to take advantage of the fact that we have a customer sitting at home wanting to purchase the product but often they don't realize that there are other items that would really compliment their purchase and why not take advantages of the economy of scale with regard to shipping.
I'm excited to see what Product Upsell will do for Shop the Hound. I really think that it coupled with Product Discount that Shop the Hound is on the right path to an even more improved store.

This is a great little app, we have had 15% conversions since we installed it. I highly recommend it.
I've had some frustrations with this app that I've left feedback with support for. It sounds like they're rebuilding the app, which I'm looking forward to. I had this at 5-stars before some issues made me decrease it, but I'm willing to give it a chance. I'll leave it at my original rating and will update at a future time if I feel it's necessary.
