Context: Installed the ReviewXpo app to replace the deprecated Product Reviews app which was being shut down.

The installation was easy and the review widgets appeared on the product pages as expected.

However, the CSV import kept failing, even after repeated attempts, including a test import with just three records. This left us without our reviews on the site which is one of our big drivers for conversion rates. Contacted support and got a prompt response. They looked into the issue with me supplying the CSV import file but failed to see what was wrong. So they asked for access to our site (via the Shopify access request mechanism). Once granted, they were able to get the data imported (after a couple of attempts). The reason for the failure is still unknown. The good thing is that they worked hard to get it resolved in a reasonable time frame. My reviews were out of action for about 6 hours but once loaded they presented nicely (better than the previous app) and the clickable link at the top makes it easy for people to see and get to the reviews which is important.

The reason I have given 4 stars is that the end result is good and they were right onto it with fixing the import problem (which is a one off for us of course as people will enter new reviews directly). The ability to get support promptly is a big plus IMHO. Support is one of those things you hardly ever need but when you need it, you need it quickly with good communication channels, which is what I got.

Have not experimented with the other features as of yet so rating is based on initial experience.
