Reputon Amazon Importer

I’m updating my earlier 1-star review since the Reputon Amazon Importer team has now resolved about 90% of the issues I previously faced. I appreciate the effort and improvements — the app now performs much better, and most major bugs have been addressed.

However, there’s still important work to be done. I strongly recommend that the team focus on developing and optimizing one dedicated theme for Multi-Store setups and another for Single Product Stores. For example, they could build exclusive support for themes like “Extra” (for Multi-Store) and “Shrine Pro” (for Single Product Stores) to ensure consistent compatibility and smoother performance.

Additionally, for the Extra Theme, the team should ASAP fix the Pop-Up Purchase issue for the “Buy on Amazon” button, as this still affects the user experience and conversion flow.

Overall, I’m now giving this app 3 stars for the significant improvements and responsiveness from the developers. With continued focus on theme optimization and app stability, this could easily become one of the best Amazon import tools available.

We’ve been using this app for a long time, and it has too many problems. We kept trying to talk to the support team about these issues, but instead of providing solutions, they just create more problems. Honestly, the support team is amateur.

Products are not updating, and in one month, we lost a lot of money because of this app. Prices and products do not update. Friends, buy this app knowingly or pay for it — if you are going to upload 3–5 products to your website, it works, but if you plan to upload more, this app should be your last choice because it does not update.

We explain the problem to the company with pictures, videos, etc., but there is no solution. Moreover, the responses we receive are even more ridiculous.

I believe many of the reviews are fake. We have created a 34-page file with images and videos about this issue, and we plan to report this app to Shopify because it does not do what it claims.

Advice for the company making the app: if you make an app or sell a service, the rule is this — when a customer writes to you about a problem, you should provide a solution. Problems should not be answered with another problem or with a question. This is the golden rule of commerce.
