I’ve only had the ‘Auto Currency Switcher’ app installed for a couple of days but so far, so good. It looks very neat and tidy when integrated using the ‘Inline with the Header’ option.
I don’t want to put anyone off using this app, but be aware that you might need to contact support to get the app working with your theme. I use Palo Alto 4.6.3 on my store (Shopify 2.0) and initially nothing happened at all. But just contact support – they are great! I spoke to Shaba Khan via live chat who was superb, extremely responsive and used very clear English. I actually thought I would be talking to a Bot but she was definitely a human!
Because I wanted the switcher to be integrated inline with the header, it did require a bit of extra tweaking by their technical team which took a few hours.
So if it doesn’t work first time and you can wait a few hours, don’t uninstall it, contact their amazing support and they’ll soon have you up and running.
BTW, if you are not 100% sure, the app definitely does automatically change to the correct currency depending on your location – it’s not just a manual switcher.
