The 15 orders/month limit has always been clearly mentioned on multiple places:

On our in-app subscription page

On our official website: birdchime.com/pricing

And also on our Shopify App Store listing (now visible under the Free plan section)

We genuinely aim to be transparent about all plan limitations and features. If there’s anything we can do to help clarify or assist further, we’d love to connect and make things right.
