Don't waste your time. I set up Viral Loops for a Shopify pre-launch referral campaign and the core feature — sending referral emails — simply never worked. Raised a support ticket, waited days for replies, and the issue was never fixed. Nobody could explain how discount codes are generated or synced with Shopify. It feels like there's no dev team behind this product and barely any active users.
Also worth noting: take the 5-star reviews here with a big grain of salt. One of them (Mastic Spa) left a glowing review after "about one hour with the app" claiming thousands of subscribers and sales. That's not a real review — that's marketing. The other 5-star review is from 2018. The only other honest review here is the 1-star from Common Goods saying the same thing I experienced: this app does not work.
Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
