SMART Shipping Rates & Rules

We were already using the SMART Checkout Rules app, but ran into a dilemma today when our shop went to go run a special shipping sale for subscribers that required some specific shipping conditions to put in place. Unfortunately, Shopify by default doesn't seem to have the ability to choose which shipping methods a shipping discount can be applied to, and doesn't let you set customer tags or segments to a specific shipping method either.

This is where SMART Shipping Rates came to save the day in a pinch! I reached out to Reymar on the customer service team, and we were able to come to a very quick and flexible solution that solved my dilemma in a short amount of time, since the email campaign we were planning needed to go out today. Reymar was very friendly and knowledgeable, and by the looks of it, the app has quite a few very flexible features that could help solve a lot of Shopify shipping limitations in the future as well.
