MIDA Fraud Filter, Bot Blocker

After discovering an enormous amount of bot traffic hitting our Shopify store and completely distorting our analytics, I installed this app. Within hours, we could see MIDA identifying and blocking the suspicious traffic while still allowing legitimate visitors and verified bots through. After configuring the protection settings, traffic from the main source of the bot activity dropped by roughly 90% compared with the same hour the previous day.

Visitor logs are especially helpful because I can see where traffic originates, the IP/provider, risk level, which rule was triggered, and whether the visitor was blocked or allowed. This gave me much more insight into what was actually going on than Shopify analytics alone.

Setup is straightforward, the controls give you plenty of flexibility, and most importantly, it works. If you're dealing with bot traffic, or scraping, suspicious international traffic, or analytics being overwhelmed by automated session, this is absolutely worth installing.
