My store was over run with bot check outs and my mailing list was contaminated with 40,000 bot created accounts before we realized what was happening. We installed cartwatch and the bot activity stopped. the fake shopify account are tagged and deleted automatically. I have contacted the customer service team with questions and they have been very responsive! It's a same that Shopify doesn't offer better native protection from this kind of attack. Without something protecting your cart you're a sitting duck. This is a very effective app, worth the money for sure.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're glad CartWatch was able to help you get your bot flood under control.
It's great to hear that the automatic tagging and deletion are making a difference. We're committed to staying ahead of these evolving bot attacks and making sure merchants can focus on running their businesses instead of fighting bots.
We really appreciate your support and kind words about our team!
