MIDA Fraud Filter, Bot Blocker

I upgraded to MIDA’s paid plan to address fraudulent Shopify checkout orders. My public storefront is hosted on Replit and sends legitimate customers to Shopify checkout.

During support, MIDA confirmed in writing that its Block Fake Order feature blocks visitors who access checkout without first visiting the Shopify storefront, and cannot distinguish legitimate Replit customers using that flow from fraudulent visitors. I therefore left that feature disabled.

I only learned this limitation during post-upgrade support. MIDA acknowledged the incompatibility with my checkout flow but declined both my refund request and a refund exception. I have since saved a downgrade to Free.

Merchants using externally hosted storefronts should get written confirmation of checkout compatibility and refund terms before paying.
