No matter how much we like Shopify, we have to admit that their reports are severely lacking. So we hunted around for a good reporting app. We tried some that had good ratings but weren't totally satisfied until we discovered Report Pundit. I'm not sure I can truly express how much I like this app. No, LOVE this app! Firstly, the reports are awesome, and exporting them to Excel (without extra cost!) makes them useful outside Shopify. Then consider that you can edit any existing report to your liking, but if that isn't enough you can literally make a custom report for any data that is in your Shopify database!
OK... now for the clincher. Twice now, I created a custom report, ran into issues (user education problem), and used the support chat right on the reports page. Both times I got a quick response and resolution. I can't even imagine anything better!
End your search and stress now. Just install it. You won't regret it!
