App works great and worth the money to make adding customers to POS faster. Currently you do need 2 scanners to make it work since the socket mobile is in App Mode when in Shopify POS not HID mode which the app requires. Amazing developer who is very helpful in adding features!

EDIT: with the new release of Shopify UI extensions, the app no longer requires a second scanner for customer barcodes. The app's native "Add customer" POS UI extension loads and adds customers to the cart instantly.
