ShipZip Shipping Rates & Rules

Fills in a lot of the missing functionality that Shopify lacks - essential for shipping to different zones across the UK without excluding customers in hard to reach areas (or eating the extra costs of delivering to them yourself). An absolute must if you have complexities in your shipping rules too, especially if you are using unit based rules rather than weight, which are impossible to setup with Shopify alone. Helpful team as well, who have been invaluable in bug-fixing (largely because of the complexity of our case). I would not say that the set-up is straight-forward and user-friendly for a non developer, but difficulty is to be expected with the different logic required to make our logistics rules work.

Great app, perfect for UK businesses that can't separate the UK Mainland delivery charges from the Scottish Highlands & Islands for example. Now we can charge exactly the correct amount for delivering to all the remote areas :)

Great app! We have a complex shipping set up where we have separate fulfillment locations and this was able to combine the rates as we wanted as native shopify was unable to do this. There are help videos for each step of the way but team were so helpful to confirm the set up that we needed.

We have been able to create custom rules intuitively with the app. At times when we have seen some conditions not working as expected, their support team has been extremely helpful and quick to resolve. Its not always the case to find this type of support without having to have dedicated supported or paying extra, so it rare and a relief for smaller companies, solving this issues does not cost extra and you still get to build a better experience for your customers. Recommend over other options we tried for sure.

It's about 8 months since we moved to Shopify, from a system that allowed us to code our own shipping rules. The prospect of having to rely on an App was concerning, as we were not sure whether it would provide the flexibility we wanted. As it happened, it gave all the flexibility, and more. It did so in an intuative way too. We ae now able to offer customers leaner shipping costs, and more accurate delivery expectations. They offer incredible support too, always online, and always willing to screenshare and walk through any problems that you may be having. I highly recommend this App and the people behind it.

Our third Shopify site using ShipZip - we don't even need to consider looking elsewhere. Shipzip allows us to set zones according to courier's boundaries with prices set according to postcode and more complex rules using Shopify tags for bulky items, specialist carriers, and discounts/free shipping rules.

An excellent solution for stores with multiple rules. We've just re-structured our shipping with more complex rules for multiple carriers, each with different services to postcode areas and ShipZip made it easy to re-write our rules effectively, split into manageable zones.

If you take the time to work out your rules before entering them in, and work logically, ShipZip is a very powerful solution that supports UK postcodes very well.

Support is quick and polite.

Note: You do need to be on the Shopify Advance plan, or for lower Shopify tiers either pay your Shopify subscription annually or pay Shopify an extra fee to expose the carrierservice API to the app, but that is a Shopify policy to lock out this feature to basic stores, not a fault of the app.

Would 100% recommend ShipZip for a store including bulky items with carrier surcharges and delivering to zones with different carrier charges.
