What seems to have started with the right foot forward, has turned to be a nightmare. The only reason I'm leaving a 1 star review is because I can't go lower. I'm on the paid version still on trial, and despite over a week of back and forth with not 1 but 3 support agents plus some others from Shopify, it seems no one can figure out why Shopify isn't connecting to ShipStation.
Frustrated of the lack of knowledge on ShipStation's part pointing fingers at Shopify doesn't begin to express it.
I will change my review once I can get someone knowledgeable enough to figure this out, as it seems the people in support have no clue what's happening.
Great app for shipping and keeping track of orders and shipments, especially if you own stores in different platforms
Shipstation used to be amazing. It's still decent but lately they have had constant bugs, lag times, down times, stuff doesn't sync right. It's still worth the money but barely.
I've downgraded my 3 star review to 2 stars. Constant login issues. Every time they "upgrade or update" their system and/or platform, the issues seem to be worse.
Be prepared to trouble shoot on a consistent basis.

As a small business startup, navigating shipping platforms can be overwhelming, but Joey from ShipStation made it a breeze! He took the time to explain everything in detail and even sent me helpful videos. His exceptional support went above and beyond my expectations. WORST customer service. Shipstation worked great till they switched to Parcel Guard. They ended up costing us thousands of dollars in damages for one shipment. We have double automatic insurance rules on our account, but what they don't advertise is that if you ship more than one package in a shipment, they automatically turn off your insurance. Been back and forth with customer service for months over the issue. Cancelled our account because of how much money we lost. Said they were going to give us a refund, went silent for weeks, stopped responding to our emails then a new support person popped back in after we cancelled and said sorry to see you go and no refund.

The integration is straight-forward but lacks the ability to configure it to specific needs. For example, we operate a warehouse that both ships and provides for local pickup. The integration will not import anything without a shipping address, so we can't use it for operations (only shipping). Additionally, the frequency of sync is variable. It is fast in the morning, but slow in the afternoon (busy time). You can manually sync, but again that isn't a good operational solution.

Worked great for a few days, bought several hundred dollars of labels and then ceased letting me add credit. Support told me to create a stamps.com account which is insane given that I don't want to pay two monthly fees for two accounts when ShipStation is owned by Stamps.com

This is the one tool that our company could not live without. The amount of time and money it saves us is priceless. The automated rules ensure we are always selecting the cheapest rates possible in a seamless integration. This saves also saves many hours each day so we can utilize our staff for more important tasks. Customer support is amazing as well. We have always gotten quick answers to questions and they always go above and beyond to solve our problems. Special shout out to Chelly Bell the latest rep who helped us find solutions to help save us money and make our dad to day that much easier.
I've been very happy with ShipStation so far. For the most part, it just works. And for the times that it didn't, some settings adjustments fixed my issues. I find their offering expensive for my size business (really tiny), but it's a situation of you-get-what-you-pay-for.
Customer service has been top notch, even though I'm sure I'm one of their smallest accounts.
