It does so much! It can be a bit overwhelming at first. But they have great support and help you navigate through any bumps on the road. Couldn't imagine shipping without it.
Really useful if you run multiple stores, we're located internationally so we can't take advantage of a lot of the features that ShipStation offers like their app (which can only be downloaded on the US apple store) and generating shipping labels but it does allow us to process all orders from multiple sources all from one place which is good enough for us!
Hoping one day soon they will start being more inclusive of businesses located elsewhere!
great app to help ship orders to customers. i like it, it is easy to use and has a good price for the value.
I wanted to install the app knowing the app's review is low,
but it's seem these low reviews are correct and it's not a good app at all, After connecting the app to my Shopify store, it never shows orders, first issue
This was the best app we had. Once it was updated IT IS COMPLETE TRASH!! Their support will take weeks with no help. A glitch a day will make you feel like you work for Ship station and not your own business.
Customer service is non-existent.. you can NOT actually talk with anyone at all regarding any issues. I have set up two users for different logins and only one works. When we attempt to remove the other user and reload them into their platform, it states that they already exist and we can not add another user to the account, yet we pay for multiple users... The platform is somewhat easy to navigate, but the service is terrible.
I can only ship from my address... I can't put any other ship from locations into the system as it will not allow you to process orders if a different address is used from your main account address.
The system sucks! Support SUCKS YUUUUUGE D!
Love this app. It has made shipping from multiple platforms with different carriers a breeze. Plus we can access the information anywhere, anytime. Highly recommend it!
This app has definitely made shipping easier for us. The software allows auto import of customer data from many sites and shipping rates are automatically applied if filters and rules have been set up. However I'd caution anyone who is looking for shipping software to shop around. Shipstation offers no phone support, the software has difficulty automatically splitting applying shipping rates to orders containing multiple items, and the bulk import tool sucks. This means that if you have lots of customers that buy multiple items, you're still doing a lot of manual sorting. Also, if you run a Kickstarter campaign, for example, and need to import several hundred orders VIA .csv, you're going to run into problems.
ShipStation saves me so much time! I have two Shopify accounts (wholesale and retail) and I sell on a few other sales channels as well. It's so nice to have all orders come into one place!
So, overall, I love that Ship Station integrates with a lot of our other apps and has some nice features (Alias, ability to hold orders, etc.).
I'm massively disappointed in the helpfulness of the support and miss the much more helpful people at Shipping Easy.
They also oversell the 'customize your packing slip' feature and don't provide any advice or support for that either.
Just fair warning. :-/
