This app has helped me do a lot of things other apps couldn't, (like the Canada Post app, which isn't really user friendly), but it has a few quirks that make it not as easy to use. I still haven't been able to figure out how to print huge batches of labels at a time, and I couldn't create a return shipping label for a customer in the US. But those are small inconveniences compared the pros-- it's fairly easy to use, and it actually helps me see my orders in a more helpful way, even than from the shopify back end.
I use this app to process all shipping in our Shopify store. The integration is great! I am sure we are not using all of the features but works great for us. We have several different shipping option and I like how you can color code and sort by tag quickly.
The software glitched and charged me over $125 without ever providing a shipping label. I've been trying since January (5 months) to get this resolved, and they keep stringing me along, claiming they're 'working on this situation and investigating further'. It doesn't take 5 months to refund an overcharge, and they can figure out the glitch on their own time. That one overcharge more than cancelled out any savings provided by using the service. Now I have to go to the CC company and see about getting those charges reversed. Not worth it at all.
This system is a joke. Was told upgrading would help, and it removed all video tutorials. Went to chat, they're closed for a company wide meeting. Had promised to bulk ship all my orders to customers this weekend and the system is nothing but error messages about halfway through. Absolutely atrocious. Planning on cancelling my service immediately.
Update #1: Stars upgraded. Videos are still available, just in an area I didn't know about. This falls on me, and me alone. David reached out to me quite quickly after normal return to business. After a short description of my experience so far, he got me setup to get some assistance through one of their shipping professionals. Will update later for an overall fair review.
Have been using this software for about a year it continuously gets better. Actually found shopify because of ship station. We sell on eBay,amazon and newegg. This app make shipping out all orders much easier. Must have for any serious business.
I use ShipStation to generate shipping labels for various market places at which I sell. Overall, I find the app very convenient. I use also another vendor's inventory management software as ShipStation has some limitation is tracking cost of goods sold
I really enjoy the ease of use and what this thing actually does for my business. I can't imagine having a Shopify store without having Shipstation. Support is good, not as good as Shopify itself, but they get the job done. It's missing one feature I'd really like but other than that, it's a solid product that's customizable to your business.
Great app integation to simplify the fulfilment process. Plenty of direct integrations to many of the major shipping providers here in Australia and also a great API if you need to integrate with something a bit more custom. Support is excellent and very responsive.
Hands down the best app on the store. I would go as far to say that this app should qualify as a Shopify basic. We would not be able to function without ShipStation and their amazing support team.

Overall we are very pleased with Shipstation and it is far above any other shipping program we have used. We use several different shopping channels and Shopify Ecommerce website. Shipstation does a good job of allowing us to view and fulfill our orders. One or two suggestions that would make our experience better. 1. The ability to place a QR code on our packing slip so that customers could scan and provide a review on our respective sales channels. 2. Would prefer reduction in frequent changes in UI of Shipstation sometimes disrupts our settings. These updates / changes come with little warning, and disrupt our process. Overall Shipstation does a great job and would recommend to others.
