User friendly interface, great shipping options, fast & friendly support & account management.
I run multiple Shopify sites and having all the dispatch/shipping co-ordinated in one place makes my life so much easier.
I have been consistently blown way by the level of support and care that ShipStation gives to us. We aren't exactly a big store, but they treat us as if we're a multi-national enterprise. The solution is great as well, but being able to work with such kind and knowledgable people has been a godsend in getting our e-commerce business up and running.
Looking forward to many more fruitful years with the SS team! Keep crushing it!
Absolutely love ShipStation! We have used this for close to 3 years now at this point and it has literally saved us hundreds of hours of time. The UI is easy to use and understand, and support has always been incredibly helpful and on point. You couldn't ask for a better shipping application.
Enables shipping to Europe but lacks the capability to generate return labels. If anyone is familiar with a company that offers this service, please feel free to get in touch. Ridiculous!
10/10 would recommend for anyones shipping needs !
I used another competitor before trying Shipstation. We were having trouble with the competitor's automations not working consistently. We're a small biz (6 figs rev) and so we really just needed the basics to work. After trying Shipstation, the time we saved with automations working perfectly, every time, was huge. No question, we love the product and will continue to be a customer.
We've shipped 5,350 orders using this terrible software and this is our review. I write this review as we currently have 250+ orders that need to be shipped. We have countless upset customers emailing us to inquire about their late and unreceived orders. We haven't been able to bulk ship orders because Shipstation's software is down. USPS altered their shipping services 11 days ago on July 9th. Because of this slight change at USPS all of our orders that will use USPS can not be bulk shipped. The only options we have now is to either ship orders one at a time or to use another more expensive shipping service like UPS and FedEx which will cost us hundreds of dollars. We've tried contacting Shipstation via their chat support 3 times in 3 days for almost a week. Each time we've spoken to a new lazy, slow and poorly trained agent that seems to be from a foreign country. They've waste our time and failed to solve this issue or to tell us when it would be fixed. Each time we're asked to send screenshots and are asked a bunch of useless and generic questions about our issue. We've also spoken to their "premium" phone support 2 times in 2 days who've told us Shipstation has known about this software error for many days and has yet to fix it. When we told them how frustrated we were about this and how long it was taking to be fixed we were given a typical corporate nonsense response that sounded something like "our engineers are aware of this issue and are working very hard to resolve it very soon."
In our opinion Shipstation is:
1. A poorly designed software that constantly breaks and causes us slow shipping times and headaches.
2. Is too complicated and hard to learn and use. Simple tasks require multiple steps.
3. Has poorly trained, slow and useless support that don't know how to troubleshoot and fix their own software.
4. Is too expensive considering the low quality service it offers.
5. Has pathetically slow progression when it comes to fixing issues with their software.
I used ShipStation for years and it worked well. Recently they changed their Shipsurance to Parcel Guard. When I agreed to using it, ShipStation stole the balance I had in Shipsurance. I contacted support and they did not acknowledge the problem. They claimed it was transferred to my stamps.com account, but upon running a report I did not see the added money. Thus they STOLE my balance. I assume others had this happen and SS likely made a lot of money. I canceled the app and now use PirateShip which is a pay per label deal with NO monthly fees.

Does not integrate, does not work. App is unsupported in Shopify. I would steer clear.
I have contacted support multiple times and I haven't had any proper response, telling me that it's not their issue, or to use a work-around that is basic.
Good... when it works.
We constantly have issues due to updates. They change things that dont work as well for us, then we have to change how we process our orders.
Right now, our orders will not even import to ShipStation and they can't tell us why.
Truly awful development team removing or breaking features with every update. Every bug report is ignored. Every feature request is ignored. Customer service team is useless, they will "forward over tickets to their dev team" and then respond after months and months of outage issue reports just to tell you they aren't doing anything. Based on my experience, I genuinely hope a good competitor puts them out of business.
ShipStation is the hub of my business. It makes my life so simple. I've connected my shopify store as well as all the other marketplaces where I sell. After several years of use, Shipstation continues to import all my order flawlessly.
Extremely reliable with few limitations. Customer service is great when an occasional issue or outage does occur. I would recommend this to anysmall to mid sized business
Very slow in the afternoon in rush period before Xmas hope this will be corrected for next year since it is 50% of our yearly sales All the rest is fine
We use the App to help us sell to online customers and create a better experience for them, easier order management for us and offer the customer benefits and improve their ordering experience. For the most part we are very happy with Shopify. I think the monthly fee for Shopify Plus is a too expensive for the average company, given what we deal with in terms of ingredient price increases nowadays, inflation and just the effort to stay in business. Leveling the playing field for all users would increase usage and thus increase profits for Shopify. The better experience that users have, even at the smaller business levels, the more users Shopify will have.
Fantastic app. Very easy to use. Excellent customer support team. We're trying to integrate as many of our dot.com customers as possible using this product. We highly recommend ShipStation!
I love the ease of use. Being able to see all the different freight costs and delivery times on one screen saves us so much time.

We love the ease of ShipStation. It is seamless, we use it on the backend (Cin7) for orders with customers. We have it here in Shopify and the workflow is the same. The team doesn't have to manage two different companies. Customers get delivery notification and confirmation when received. ShipStation has been instrumental in streamlining our fulfillment! Keep in mind that if you use an automatic discount, the final amount won't be right in the packing slip. We have to leave this app because our customers think they are being overcharged due to packing slips being wrong about amount paid. They don't offer any solution, just this: Automatic Discounts: A discount applied at checkout that does not require the customer to manually enter a code at checkout. ‘Automatic Discounts’ from Shopify do not import into ShipStation. These discounts are a different type of discount than the ‘Discount Codes’ that would import as a line item. This difference may be why you see a discrepancy between Order Total and Amount Paid. This is not very professional.
We love ShipStation! Very user friendly, and has helped streamline our order fulfillment. Highly recommend.
We love the ability to connect Shipstation to our Shopify store as well as to all the marketplaces we sell though. The convenience of having everything in one place is something we are super grateful for. The app is really easy to explore and navigate too.
Just tried to use and not allowed to purchase and print label, you've been taking monthly charges and the first time I try it , it failed
Newbie to ShipStation. So far, so good. I'm loving it. Phenomenal App for my business site, www.CBDTroubleshoot.com. Very easy to use. Tracks shipping data, ect... Quick and easy. I recommend this app for your shipping and tracking needs.
I really love the functionality of the app. Very stable and an indispensable tool in my daily workflow.
Overall great as it pulls in orders from many different stores / platforms. The inventory tracking doesn't seem to work, but otherwise great.
Ship Station is great! My company sells on several marketing channels and Ship Station brings orders from all my stores into one convenient place. You will never copy and paste addresses again! The rates are great too. If you have more than one storefront on more than one platform, you will LOVE it and it will save so much time!
This app is really great. I enjoy the ease of use for large shipping orders, the verification of addresses and the post office shipping tracking form.
Shipstation has streamlined our process. It has made it very easy for us to receive our orders and get them shipped very quickly. The customer service is great they even call to make sure that we don't need any help with anything. I would recommend Shipstation to anyone using Shopify.
This app has enabled us to ship orders with accuracy, using the scan to verify option. We have no order complaints now due to incorrect items being sent & has sped up the packing system massively. Wonderful customer support, we had a few technical issues and received a call quickly to fix the issue.

ShipStation has come a long way since I started using them 7 years ago. Now, it is seamless and saves me hours of shipping time each week. ShipStation Connect has become more efficient at integrating with my 2 Shopify stores and I am sure it will continue to do so going forward.
ShipStation is one of the most useful services I've used (for 2+ years). I use it as the hub for all my stores (Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, & ebay) as the single point of operations for managing fulfilment. Might be a small learning curve to setup, but once you've got it running it should be pretty bullet-proof and user friendly. Price is reasonable and fair; just have a Dymo 4XL and letter printer for labels and invoices respectively. It is invaluable to my business operations.

After nearly a year using ShipStation, I have to say we are quite satisfied overall. While not perfect - there are a few minor bugs here and there - I would definitely say its outperformed all of the other options we'd tried in the past. Absolutely love the built-in scan verification feature for packing orders as it has decreased our fulfillment error rate by over 98%. We've also had no issues with getting in touch with live chat or phone agents who have been able to help us with whatever issue we've encountered.
I use this app to manage my inventory in 6 marketplaces. As long as it is working and uploading tracking and counting things correctly it is ok, but if you have a problem and need support then they hang you out to dry. ZERO customer service and problem solving. We used to have Stitch labs and it was expensive, so you get what you pay for with Sellbrite. They need to have customer support on chat. We are a pretty big seller and need better support
Shipstation will offer you a 30 day "free trial". I cancelled BEFORE the deadline because it wasn't going to work for my store. Then they started billing me two months later. So after you cancel watch your credit card charges and then you can waste a bunch of time and cancel it a second time. No thanks!
I had to change my rating back to one star. Today it didn't connect due an error at the end of Ship Station for 3 hours. Just a white screen and gear spinning. Horrible support. Continued errors with Shopify Software. I held for 40 minutes with phone support, then a leave a message, message came on. The email support is a joke. Token incompatibility with shopify. I am not happy. I spent 1/2 my morning trying to deal with shipping only 20 orders. Account rep is not responsive and there is no one to fill in. When you do reach people they are poorly trained and not helpful. All they do is ask for a 5 star rating
I used to be very happy with ShipStation.
HOWEVER - if you ever need help - their support is beyond useless.
I had an issue with shipping using DHL where it kept saying that I have insufficient funds with an error code.
So I opened a ticket with them and told them the issue that I have. About 4 hours later - they finally reply saying "there might be an issue with your card at stamps (which only does usps), please re-add your card"
That tells me two things - first their support is utterly clueless, second - they didn't even check my ticket, but instead answered with a canned reply.
I then opened another ticket, hoping to get a person that would at least remotely care. Nope - same reply from the other person.
Now to make things clear - they did take the $50 for the shipping, and added it to the account. The included screenshot shows that there are money. I also shipped 4 packages using USPS after that - without a single issue. So I tried talking to them again - it just showed me how clueless they are.
I am done with shipstation after using them for years, because this is unacceptable. If you are looking for a good shipping software to go with your store - AVOID shipstation and look elsewhere. I am just starting to look for an alternative, but I am very much done with this joke of a company.
Stay away - I was wrongfully charged for a month's subscription after following the customer service agent's instruction of how to extend a trial and ended up being charged for an extra month also.
I've been attempting to chase this up for over five months now with no reply. This company owes me nearly £80 and seems to have no interest in dealing with it other than avoiding me.
Love it when it works. But it doesn't always work! Lots of bugs and lots of down time unfortunately.
Tried this to try to make my shipping done in 1 app for fast comparison! I wasted 2 hours trying to make everything work just with Shopify, what a joke! Canceled my free trial ... I see no reason at all for this "add on" Couldn't get anything to work even though I have had accounts with UPS, FedEx and DHL since the '70's! NOTHING BUT ERROR MESSAGES! I went back to my FREE online shipping platforms from FedEx, and UPS. USPS is already is Free and working with Shopify. $108 a year this app? They should pay you to BETA test this crap! 4.8 rating has got to be phony as a 3 dollar bill! Don't believe it!!!
Slow Slow Slow Slow Slow Slow. HUGE productivity killer... If they would fix this I would give it 5 stars.
My experience with Shipstation has been absolutely awful. I have used them for almost a year now and I continually run into issues where ship station connect doesn't work, my password is wrong and it locks me out even though I never changed it, it does not give me the cheapest rate and tries to sell me on the most expensive, it does not sync even though I hit the sync button, etc. I do around 1,000 orders a month and ship station has been a massive pain in the ass. If management is reading this, stop lying to people and letting them think that your company is some wonderful 'shipping nirvana' as you advertise. All you really are is an annoying middle man that just happened to get good rates with USPS. That's literally it.
great app to help ship orders to customers. i like it, it is easy to use and has a good price for the value.
So, overall, I love that Ship Station integrates with a lot of our other apps and has some nice features (Alias, ability to hold orders, etc.).
I'm massively disappointed in the helpfulness of the support and miss the much more helpful people at Shipping Easy.
They also oversell the 'customize your packing slip' feature and don't provide any advice or support for that either.
Just fair warning. :-/
This app is awesome! It's a one-stop for order printing, picking lists, shipping, calculating costs and fulfillment. The customer service has been great too!
Has made shipping so much easier for us. Great app. Highly recommended.
