Imagine this scenario

You walk into a retail shop, and see some of their products are on sale. The reason you notice this is because you see the sale price next to the normal retail price. This simple visual indicator is an extremely effective way to get customers excited about a sale your shop is having and start making purchases!

Why you need this app

Having a sale in a Shopify shop without Simple Sale is not easy. You could manually change all of your prices, but this would take a long time and the possibility for error is large. Alternatively you could create a coupon and advertise it to your customers, but they would have to remember to input it when they checkout. Both situations are not ideal.

Simple Sale works by temporarily putting the retail price for a product in the compare at field and then puts the sale price into the normal price field. Simple Sale takes care of all of the calculations for you. Just enter a sale percentage, choose a collection or your entire shop and click the start sale button!

Please ensure that the products you want to put on sale using Simple Sale do not have an existing "compare at" price. Simple Sale uses the "compare at" price field to store your original prices while your sale is on. Simple Sale processes a maximum of 250 products per sale.

The worst! I used this app to mark down a lot of products for a temporary sale but once the sale was over the "stop sale" didn't change the prices back. Contacted tech support and for 2 days they have been supposedly working on it - still not working. We now have to spend an entire day manually resetting all the prices! I've had this app for several years and it used to work, then we changed to a different theme and everything broke. They fixed it and now with same old theme - completely broken again. Don't waste your money and time, stay away from this piece of crap.

I was a loyal customer for many, many years however this app no longer works...unfortunately. Please do yourself a favor and do not use this app. I ran a sale and now have to manually change every sale price back to non-sale price which with my amount of inventory and variants, will take weeks to fix!

terrible! was impossible to get rid of the sale. even contacted the developers for help - said they were looking at it right now but failed to resolve it and or even update me. ridiculous and deffo would not recommend. totally get that it's normal for issues to happen sometimes, but support was not helpful at all and doesn't look like they even know how to work for their own app tbh.
