I downloaded this app accidentally and immediately deleted it when I realized it was not the app I was looking for. I did not explore the app or use its features.

My concern was never simply about receiving a refund. The refund was appreciated, but that was not the reason for my review.

What I find concerning is the way the response to my review makes it sound as though I needed this app, needed the company’s assistance, or was somehow unhappy because I did not accept their help. That is not what happened.

My business does not primarily sell online. Most of my sales are in person, and I mainly use my website for customers to view my products and for sharing links. I therefore had no reason to need the optimization services being described in the response.

I also want to address the statement that my store “optimized images” and “activated asset preloading.” I did not intentionally explore or use these services. I downloaded the app accidentally and deleted it immediately because it was not what I was looking for.

Since uninstalling the app, I have also received multiple emails, including emails with subject lines such as “What would it take to get you back?” I consider these unnecessary, particularly since I have already uninstalled the app and have no interest in using it again.

I understand that Shopify handles billing and I appreciate that the charge was refunded. However, repeatedly explaining how your company tried to help me does not address the actual point: I did not need the app or your services in the first place.

I am entitled to leave an honest review based on my experience. I wish the company well, but I am not interested in the product and would simply like my decision to be respected. Received 8 emails in total.

We had a short conversation with the merchant and sadly we could not resolve the situation. But we got really good feedback on our email flows.

The initial review was that the merchant got charged after they uninstalled our app.

We understand that It might be confusing why Shopify is charging after an uninstallation and when the merchant reached out - we refunded with no questions asked as we always do.

Still the merchant left a review which first version said "I sent a email but I’ll update if they respond." I'm really not sure why the review was left when they reached out to our 24/7 support and they refunded them immediately.

We sent 4 emails in total (attaching a screenshot https://prnt.sc/cVYwfKAjBZdB + 1 welcome to TinySEO email after install) after we got their email trying to confirm if they received the refund, if everything is resolved, offering extra help for the store and just following up.

Also we took their feedback and reduced our uninstall automation emails from 4 to 2. Now just asking for feedback on why the merchant chose to uninstall the app. Thank you to them for this advice, that's why we have the feedback flows!

As they mention in their review - we removed the "win-back" emails and left emails only to collect feedback as sometimes the feedback is amazing.

Also in every email we send automatically - we have an unsubscribe option.

It's really sad to receive such reviews of charges while we do not control the billing, but I'm glad we could refund them the full amount as they mention - the app was not for them.

The feedback about emails was really good and we implemented it right after It was shared.

We just offered extra help for the online store as we are SEO & Speed experts for the inconvenience caused with the charge thinking the advice would be appreciated like with the other merchants before.

We wish their business all the best and hope it succeeds online too!

TinySEO is very user friendly and if you need help, just open the chat and they respond what seems immediately, regardless of the time of day. Chris helped me through multiple issues and was so kind, informative, and patient. I am really enjoying TinySEO plugged into my Shopify and am BEYOND IMPRESSED with their customer service.
