StoreSEO: AI SEO Agent

Jen helped me and resolved all my concerns today. The star rating is for her. The app itself works overall, and I want to keep using it but has some hesitation because the instructions and pricing structure are very confusing. I have some feedbacks I want to bring up to attention:

For example, the "Essential plan" says it covers “up to 250 products” for optimization. I used this plan in the past when I had 220 products. After optimizing everything, I downgraded to the "Lite plan" because it says it optimizes “up to 100 products" per month.

This month, I added 50 new products, so my store now has 270 products in total (220 were previously optimized). However, when I tried to optimize the 50 new items, the app only displays a random set of 100 products on the control page—those are all products that were already optimized. There’s no way to choose which 100 products the app syncs, so I can’t access the new ones at all.

This is a major inconvenience. Essentially, you must keep a plan that matches your entire store’s SKU count just to optimize newly added products. In my case, I only wanted to optimize 50 new items, but technically I would have to upgrade to the Growth plan because it covers more than 250 SKUs. “Up to ___ products” doesn’t mean how many products you can optimize—it means how many products the app allows you to sync before you can do anything.

Another issue is that you lose any previously purchased "additional AI credits" if you change your plan. The system will automatically reset everything to match the Plan's allowance. Although Jen was able to manually fix my issues this month, it’s still an ongoing hassle that should be addressed at the design level of the app to keep the user's additional purchase to follow any plan change.

Overall, the current plan pricing is not cost effective becuase if you have more than 250 SKUs, you are forced to keep paying $100 per month to be able to do small updates in the future—sau if you only want to optimize a single product’s SEO. I probably would rather hire someone to manually adjust SEO once for all and instead keep paying a subcription just to be able to make future small changes. The app should be designed in a way allow syncing all products to the app, and count only when you choose which products you want to work with within your monthly allowance.

I now have 4 stores on this app...and understanding SEO and how it works...I can tell you, this app makes is 100% easier...speed of delivery is a major factor in our 4 businesses. StoreSEO deserves a 5 star rating for making this process very easy - I would recommend this app.

StoreSEO is very easy app which will provide you essential features to promote your Organic Presence. I am using this app since long time and fully satisfied. Florence is very helpful and always there for us.

The best part about the StoreSEO app is that it showed me what I'd been doing wrong and taught me how to do it better. It does that by showing real-time score changes for even minute changes, even one letter changes.

For example, I had a number of "woman's" products with low SEO scores and wasn't sure why. Testing other keyword recommendations offered by the app disclosed all my "woman's" products were scoring low because in part they should have been tagged as "women's" sweaters. That single letter difference of "e" vs. "a" made a significant difference after I updated all my "women's" products accordingly, and that was but only one of several product update recommendations.

Most of my products were scoring in the low 20% range when I started. On my own - with a little help from the instant chat feature - I learned how to improve those product ranking to the 75-86% ranking. After a free 45-minute session with Jen, I've learned tweaks that'll get them closer to 95%.

I was a bit cautious in picking an SEO service, especially when many advertise phenomenal improvements nearly overnight. Nothing is that easy, and to believe so would be folly. It still takes work, the difference is that StoreSEO shows you how to do it.

It also eliminates a lot of needed repetitive entries by automating those tasks. For example, very few of my images were optimized nor did they have alt text, both of which were dragging down my SEO scores. Using StoreSEO some 2,500 images were optimized and given relative alt text in a matter of minutes.

There is something I'd do differently the next time. First, I built the website, then months later obtained the StoreSEO app. That was a mistake. Had I done it in reverse, the app would have optimized my listings as they were added to Shopify.

Because my products were already listed, the app was trying to work with my existing inferior titles, tags, keywords and descriptions rather than creating better ones from the get-go. At least any new products I list are automatically being tweaked by the app as they're entered.

During the course of this SEO journey, I learned the Shopify software has some particularities that aren't always amenable to various search engines. Since StoreSEO is designed to work within Shopify it successfully addresses those differences to obtain better results.
