Yotpo is our go-to review app for all of our ecommerce websites. With the partnership announcement this year makes Yotpo a no brainer.
I used Yotpo for a store I had a few years ago and loved it! It only made sense to use them for another store I started. A lot changes in a few years but I'm happy to see they still have great rates and amazing customer service. Thank you Joian Z for helping me get everything up and running on my new store!

Easy to use and quite functional. The app also supports Mandarin! Also, CS team is really supportive and responsive (Gimbert from CS team helped me lots!)
The app is not very customizable, slow, and requires HTML and coding experience to integrate in any sort of robust way. Also, the 'Immediate Update' feature, which is describe as a developer mode where you can experiment rapidly with different features of the widget, actually take 8-24 hours to update. This resulted in my customers not being able to leave a review for a day.. right after I sent out review request to all of my customers. The customer service representative who helped me solve the above described catastrophe was at least knowledgeable and helpful though. 5 Stars to Ronel for that. 2 stars to the app.
I just downloaded it and I'm a bit disappointed that you have to UPGRADE in order to send automatic emails to the customer. I wish I knew this before I downloaded it.
I had left a neutral review today and was subsequently contacted by yotpo regarding my review, I am happy to say that the areas I had concerns with such as the review interaction is now being developed, I was also informed that there are several features for monitoring the review process and am pleased to say we will now be using the service on our shop.
Customer Support is fast and easy to communicate with. They helped me out a lot, from installing to how-to-use it.
I am not sure why this doesn't work, but no test emails ever came through - it isn't because I had any problem installing it into Shopify.
