Merchants find this app valuable for managing shipments and enhancing the post-purchase experience with real-time tracking, instant notifications, and a customizable tracking page. It integrates seamlessly with Shopify, improving store professionalism. Setup is easy, and centralized tracking is efficient. Customer support is frequently praised for being responsive and helpful, with live support and troubleshooting calls appreciated for ensuring merchants can fully utilize the software.
After 5 years as a customer, we are done recommending AfterShip.
Our custom domains for both the returns portal and tracking page stopped working. We contacted support immediately and spent three months going back and forth with no real answer. After three months, they finally told us the feature had been quietly moved to the Enterprise plan, no notification, no warning, nothing. Our customers could not track their orders for this entire period.
AfterShip removes features from existing plans without telling customers, then sells the upgrade as the only fix. That is not how you treat long-term customers. We would not recommend this platform to any brand that takes its post-purchase experience seriously.
The app has inconsistence performance with identifying the carriers from time to time, but the support is great: responding fast, providing insights into the system and not letting it go until everything is fixed!
The support team is super helpful and will work diligently to get to the bottom of your questions or any issue you are experiencing!
