Amazon MCF: US Fulfillment

We initially tried a different MCF tool on Shopify, but this Amazon-native tool outshines it by miles. The setup and configuration are incredibly user-friendly, compared to similar tools where I spent hours with support just mapping our SKUs. The automation this tool offers is its standout feature. Once an order is placed, customers receive tracking details promptly. Having been in e-commerce for a while, I can confidently say this is a game-changer!

There is a problem that the program cannot capture the quantity, and I can't solve it after looking for Amazon customer service. So I found the developer's email directly in the app. They dealt with my issue almost immediately, and thanks to their efforts, my sku has been able to recrawl the exact amount. At the same time, I also hope that the developer can fix this bug as soon as possible, which should not have happened. come on!

It seems great if you are up for manually entering your FBA inventory manually on the Shopify side then mapping the SKUs. Surely there must be a way to import my existing FBA inventory INTO Shopify. I'm an established FBA seller and last thing I want to do is manually enter my products into Shopify. Looking to have FBA inventory as primary and have shopify sync off of Amazon.

It's a free and easy way to connect Amazon fulfilment to your shopify store. Once setup, all your orders will be fulfilled by Amazon so you don't need to touch anything, this is a big deal for a startup who should not be wasting time on fulfilling, they should be wasting time on growing sales. Note: You must set up an Amazon Sellers Central account and then ship your items to Amazon where you can both sell on Amazon (increased sales for you) and use their fulfillment.

Amazon MCF Shopify App is an excellent solution for our growing multi-channel business by simplifying inventory management and allowing us to do order processing smoothly and seamlessly. Setup is very easy with a simple way to map SKUs between our Shopify store and Amazon Storefront. The speed to deliver to our consumers has exceeded expectations with our inventory optimized over Amazon's many fulfillment centers around the country. Amazon can process our orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; whereas our prior 3PL operated business hours during the week and limited hours on Saturday for an extra fee! Amazon MCF has given us the ability to easily process orders on both desktop and mobile operating systems and order flow and consumer emails are automated. The added bonus is if there is an issue or question I have with an order, an Amazon rep is a phone call or a chat box away, even at 2am! The net result is our speed and efficiency processing orders has increased and our customers so far have been reaping the benefits of our delivery times being cut in half due to Amazon MCF. What used to take up to 2-3 business days of processing and 5-7 business days to deliver, has now become: Order placed on Saturday, Delivered on Monday! Alito our customer’s delight. Oh, plus, Amazon’s support team contacted us to give us great ideas to make MCF work for us even more with “kitting” and “bundling” programs and Buy with Prime (free delivery for Prime members). I have been using the app for about 2 months in order to have all of my Shopify orders fulfilled by Amazon. The connection of SKUs was simple and once connected, it seems to be robust. I am in contact with direct Amazon support for technical issues and they are working on fixing any issues I come across, which seem to be minor.
I give it 4 stars at the moment mainly due to the customer support for logistics issues when an order arrives late or never shows up or other issues related to getting the product to the customer. When we come across these issues and have to contact Amazon support for refunds, it is way too much back and forth with overseas support when it should be much more streamlined if issues need to be resolved. If a customer states that an item never arrived, we should be able to get a full refund for the cost of the product and the associated fees for MCF, or Amazon should send out a replacement to the customer at no charge and refund us the cost of the product. This should not take a dozen back and forth emails to do so. Also, if a customer pays for expedited shipping but arrives a week late and the customer wants a refund for their shipping, it should be easier for us to request a refund from Amazon as we do not want to eat the cost due to Amazons fault. I hope that they provide better support for MCF customers soon.

The ability to seamlessly add fulfillment capabilities to your Shopify store in just about an hour is impressive. The integration process was straightforward, and I found the instructional video helpful while configuring it. Thank you!

We've tried pretty much all of the other 3p MCF apps and none of them worked as it should. I can probably write a book about their bugs and lack of CS.
The Amazon one, at least for now works great. It's simple and robust, and the installation was super easy.
You can manually split or re-route orders if you want to fulfill some of them in-house, and it's free!
