This is a terrible update. As a subscription model, it has caused all of my members’ orders to remain pending. The transactions were successful, but no Shopify orders were created.

Its been really confusing to keep receiving emails saying I need to update the connection, yet when I follow the prompts it just says that I am able to receive payments. After seeing so many similar reviews of this issue, I looked a little deeper and what I found was I went into Shopify payments, there was a warning saying that my connection to Authorize.net needed to be updated, When I pressed update, and it took me in to where I can select payment types.
At the very bottom I had the option to Activate, I didn't change any selections but did Activate.
Then everything turned green, and the warning is gone now, I am not sure if that is the case with others, but it seemed to solve my issue, but we will see if I receive another email saying I need to update the connection in a couple days.

The app doesn't work unless you delete your old authorized.net gateway. The app is conflicting with the old gateway and its blocking access. The app wouldn't bring up a spot for me to enter the API Login / Api Key. You have to fully delete authorized gate way from the payments section in your admin area and then install the app. I followed the email authorized sent me and i was able to enter the info and process payments again. Terrible app and the Shopify customer service is even worse. They should have checked this app was working before allowing it to be published. Especially for a tech company, this is downright embarrassing for them

Hi Sky Glass team, apologies to hear you're having issues. There should be no requirement to delete the old integration only to disable it, this will allow your follow-on transactions to complete on the old integration should it be required.

The app does not work, but we are being forced to update??? Why would you give us till august 31st, yet the app acts as if it isn't even there!!! Nothing what the app page description says! How can i even check my fraud or payment setups?? Horrible!!!

Apologies for any inconvenience. Can you please raise a support ticket through one of the following channels advising on issues you're seeing - https://support.authorize.net/knowledgebase/Knowledgearticle/?code=000001420. Fraud and payment setups are contained within Authorize.net and not Shopify. The new Shopify architecture only allows for minimal configuration around card types

This is really bad guys. I am a tech developer and I can't figure this out. Something is really wrong with this app and you need to fix it ASAP. Our website is unable to process transactions and I've reset the API keys 5 time. I deleted the old Authorize.net gateway. Started completely from scratch and installed this new one and it's still declining. The report is not showing up on my Authorize.net dashboard as a declined transaction so the transaction isn't even making it out of Shopify app. What is going on? Everyone is having problems! FIX IT!!!!!

New update is still questionable. Transactions timeout on Shopify end. (So far they have processed eventually) and authorize.net just blames Shopify. If you're creating app and going to force an update it should work with the system easily, we should have to go hunting to figure out the problem. And not be able suggestions as to what the issue might be!

I did the Shopify update yet I am still getting emails asking me to upgrade. I have checked the integration multiple times and it appears to be fully updated. Be sure to check Settings>Payments>authorize.net in Shopify to see if you updated it correctly.

Also, the transaction logs that now appears in the notes on the order level have much fewer details than the previous integration. Most notable AVS results are no longer included.

***Update (07/17/24) PLEASE RESPOND: I just got an e-mail stating that I have to upgrade yet again? I literally just updated this plugin 2 months ago? I have no way of knowing whether or not I am good or I have to update yet again...***

Here we go... got an e-mail that Authorize.net is updating their app. Followed the instructions to install the new app. The purchase testing went fine but I've now lost the ability to accept JCB.

Here are the cards I accepted with the original app.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover, Diners Club

Here are the only cards listed in the new app.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club

I lost JCB even though it clearly states that my merchant provider lists JCB is enabled in the Authorize.net configuration page on the Authorize.net website (not Shopify). It doesn't seem to show up on the new Shopify app. If I revert back to the old Shopify app JCB comes back.

We are leaving soon this terrible company called authorize.net
everything in this update was a mess
authorize.net tells you to update with no spesific instructions what to do first or second, just a message UPDATE then when it messes up everything they send you to shopify and shipify sends you to to authorize back and forth, they both let us down,
first we are leaving authorize, and hopefully soon shopify as well, they became too big to care and thats a recipe for disester

App does not report transaction data properly since the new migration including 0 access to any of the fraud filters that were always made available. Also, none of our settings in the fraud detection suite are working anymore and shopify/authorize.net are processing all orders, even if the settings we have set up are to automatically decline. As another reviewer pointed out, shopify says its authorize.net, and authorize.net says its shopify so we cannot get the issue fixed as neither is willing to take any responsibility. Would recommend switching to another gateway if you want to avoid this whole headache.
