This review is for the Free version of the App. If you read the docs, it seems like you will get 30 affiliates and 50 referrals orders. I installed the app because i wanted to try and after spending hours, I was told by the support team the "Referral program" is not really included in the Free version. referral orders are the orders associated with the associates. I found this to be misleading. Essentially I dont care for Affilaite program. all i wanted to try is have our customers refer their freinds and family and you cannot do that with the free version. I just wasted setting up the app to reflect my branding.
I'm not going to lie. This app is pretty great. You do have to pay for some of the better features, but it is not expensive. The reason for the 3-star review is that there is one part of the description that is misleading, and you would not know unless you tried to change the default language. I mainly went with this app because it supports Spanish. I do not speak Spanish, but the site I am working on is in Peru. This is the misleading part. It says: "Spanish translation is available for the Affiliate dashboard. You can edit the translation by customizing the page." Then it says: "Spanish translations are not available for the Log-in page, Sign-up page, and Landing page. You will need to manually translate by customizing the page." This means that I will have to manually translate the majority of this App.
Hi there, thanks for leaving us feedback on the app. I noticed that you said the description was "misleading" although I think it pretty much shows that rather than trying to make the app appear differently than how it works, we just tell honestly what the app can do and what it can not. For example, we add the language description to any language you select so that you know exactly what you're signing up for. Does it mean you'll have to "manually translate the majority of the app"? Of course not! First, the 4 portal pages (affiliate dashboard, log-in page, sign-up page, and landing page) are only one side of the app - the affiliates' side. You have the first side and the majority of the app which is actually the merchant's side. This can you choose which language it should be displayed in. Next, just because it's recommended that you translate the pages manually for better accuracy and branded content doesn't mean you're required to. If you're fine with the auto-translations, we have them for every page - each of which you thought you'd have to translate yourself. As you can see, if you don't want to translate, you can just go with the easy options and the app is not making you do anything manually for your convenience. Can't download invoices for affiliate payments in bulk, so if you want to put them as a business expense, you will have a hard time doing so. If you get 2000 payments done a month, you need to download 2000 invoices manually, one by one.
I'm not sure how this feature was missed, but it makes no sense to be unable to export invoices generated by an affiliate program app in bulk.
