Awesome support. Real people respond to me quickly in real time through their online chat. the system works well and my site feel much more protected against bots and credit card testers. Thanks for the help Tina and the rest of the team.
I was seeing a MASSIVE amount of unwanted bot traffic originating from Singapore, and Blockify allowed to to easily set up a rule (for free!) to block all these bots from accessing Checkout.
In the weeks before I installed the app, I was seeing over 350,000 sessions from Singapore with zero orders placed; now I'm only seeing a few sessions a day.
When I was surprised to still see a small bit of traffic from Singapore, Blockify support helpfully explained that seeing some traffic from Singapore in my Shopify/Google analytics is expected; these bots will still show up and probe the site, but they aren't able to reach Checkout =)

I went with the first paid plan, worth the money - if Shopify didn't require so many apps I would have upgraded again.
It's super easy to use and set up and works instantly
EDIT: I decided to upgrade afterall so I could block by specific email address which is a known issue - anyone with similar problems I highly recommend this app!

This app is honestly a life saver! It allows us to prevent fake traffic, block fraudulent IPs, prevent our content and images from being stolen, etc. We were having several problems when the website first launched, and this app was the solution to all of them! I just finished setting up my app with Louis. My expectations went far and beyond other 3 experiences with same Apps I tried before. Blockify started working since the first second. I took the ENTERPRISE PLAN because my store has too many BOT VISITORS, that apparently loveeee my products. I have the option to block too any suspicious visits not bots without intention of purchasing and I have the time and energy to chase that awful behavior. So Blockify due the hard job and I do the easy one. I put my heart in my store not to give my hard work to lazy stores. I highly recommend this App after trying 3 others, I googled and they recommended me this one as #1. When I saw that the results started since the first second I had no doubt that I made the best decision, And today with a long process patiently fixing last recommendation with Louis I confirmed its worth the price of the ENTERPRISE PLAN. Had a few minor issues setting up, primarily due to me not fully understanding the capabilities of the app. Support was responsive, helpful and patient, especially when I kept coming back with more questions! I have now had the app installed for almost two weeks, and so far, so good.

Im honestly so mad at this app. It has a block countries screen. It says "Add the countries you want to Block" it lists all countries, and includes at the top a "Add non-US countries" "Add Non-EU countries" etc... So i click those, as Im trying to block basically China/India and other non-US, non-EU etc... Done right? Easy? I assumed those were at the top because they were frequently used too. I needed to walk away, but came back to half a dozen messages from customers saying the website was down. And it was.
Support said, sorry, "Add non-US" blocks the US. Im sorry... when its a "Block these countries" and you have a "non-US" option, that means block NON-US. Ie, The US is whitelisted. I mean, I should have realized before turning it on that that is BADLY worded. But I assumed both being an option at the top AND having read it over twice (and now again) that I had it set right. But no... they failed to account for their own double negative and Im out hundreds (if not thousands) because of it.

You're absolutely right. The wording of "Add Non-US Countries" inside a "Block Countries" screen creates a double negative that reads as "block everything that is NOT the US," meaning the US should be safe. We completely understand why you interpreted it that way and honestly, it should have worked exactly as you expected.
The reality is that each rule in our app works independently, so combining "Non-US," "Non-EU," and "Non-AUS" rules ended up blocking all traffic rather than protecting those regions. This is a design and UX problem on our end, and we take full responsibility for the confusion and the lost revenue it caused.
We've already escalated this to our product team to improve so no other merchant has to go through the same experience.
We'd love the opportunity to make this right. We've reached out to you directly via chat and hope you'll give us a chance to show you the app working the way you intended.

The only reason I have given a 4 star is because, while the region may be blocked, Shopify still somewhat records the session, invariably skewing your data. However, this point to a larger shopify issue, rather than the Blockify app.

I have been getting HAMMERED by bots using my checkout to test credit cards. I installed Blockify on the advice of people who know a lot about this stuff. But they are busy and couldnt' help me sort out setup for my store. So I reached out to Blockify through chat and I'm so glad I did.
