Easy to use and exactly what I was looking for to import my Tumblr posts. Would be great if the photos from Tumblr will appear as images on the Shopify homepage blog feed.

Worked like a charm - this is the best app ever for blogs within Shopify because I can reuse all of my old content and I don't have to mess around with cutting and pasting images. A definite must but for any shopify site.

App did not work. Connected to wordpress blog with 1k+ post but BlogFeeder only imported 1 post. Tried deleting and redoing the import several times. End up giving up after paying $15

Hi,

I am sorry you had a bad 1st experience while importing the posts. From your description it looks like you missed setting things up correctly.

When you have a moment can you confirm one setting in your WordPress admin for me? WordPress sites set their RSS feed syndication settings to only send a certain number of posts.

To update your RSS settings, go to Settings > Reading and change 'Syndication feeds show the most recent' to allow all of your posts in your feed (BlogFeeder needs access to all posts to import them). At the same time, you may want to ensure that you allow the full text in your RSS feed.

I used this app to import over 200+ blogs from WordPress and it worked amazingly! They all imported in just a few minutes saved so much time and energy!

so simple to install. only took a few minutes to seamlessly import all last years blog posts. love that it allows me to still use the blogger platform to format posts and will automatically transfer to the site. thanks so much!

Saved me a bunch of time - obviously you're still going to be relinking all the images & internal links by hand, but at least you get a jumping off point... I had issues because my source blog was a custom post type - I had to export, and then re-import it to "posts" in wordpress - then delete and reset the feed to make the app work. After that it worked fine.

The support received was prompt and friendly. Could do with a few more options... But better than the alternative.

Did not import correctly and continued to state that my wordpress site had summary when I have full text. buggy. Just retried and now it will only import a handful of the blogs. DO NOT TRUST THIS APP. Spend money elsewhere

Imported the blog posts easily enough, but doesn't provide any facility to import images from them. As a result, if you're migrating from the old blog you need to manually go through each post and manually upload each image to Shopify - which sort of defeats the purpose.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback.

The one thing to keep in mind is that due to a technical limitation in the Shopify API, we are unable to fully import the blog images into your Shopify account. This means that even though they display on your Shopify blog, they are being served from your external blog.
